Things that need to be kicked out from society

Racism :

1 point

Race is another of those things that doesn't really matter. How anyone can discriminate on such a thing is beyond me: it's almost as stupid as discrimination by star-sign.

2 points

Homophobia :

1 point

Love can go any way, and I believe in freedom of love: straight, gay, polygamy, whatever, as long as it is true.

Fundamentalism :

1 point

I think that, from my personal experience, fundamentalists are slowly learning the code of 'religion is like a penis'. You don't know what's right- so don't get mad when someone says you're wrong.

Intolerance due to ignorance :

1 point

Think before you speak or type, and I may have slipped into this one a few times, but it's still pretty terrible. You have no idea how what you say online can affect other people. Don't immediately stereotype and hate!

If we through those things out, I won't have any material left to joke about ;)

Factory farming :

1 point

This is cruel, unhealthy and plain sickening. Honour is important to me, and factory farming is a plain violation of honour.

2 points

Ethnocentrism. We are all one human race. Christianity and science have both confirmed this.

2 points

Corporate Person hood. Companies are not human they do not deserve the same rights that you and I have.

1 point

Corporations get human rights for a reason. Before they had human rights you could only become a corporation if you were politically connected, you were essentially granted a monopoly.

A corporation is a conglomerate of people, it works like this. Five people own a business instead of splitting it up, they incorporate and split the shares up evenly. If corporations didn't have human rights then anything that is owned by the corporation could be raided by the government. Any media source owned by a corporation could be edited, cencored, banned or shut down by the government. Anytime a corporation puts out a statement they could be sued.

Why? Because they don't have rights anymore, free speech, free press and freedom form un-reasonable searches would no longer apply to them. Also you are forgeting that ANY business can incorporate, not just the giants you hear about. Small business and mom and pop stores can incorporate to and they often do because the system works better.

Money. Which in turn would solve many other issues...

Sexism :

1 point

Gender is not cause to discriminate or prejudge against someone. Men are not all thic clots with an incapability to restrain themselves, and women are not all silly bitches that can only do housework.

Dictators. ...

They are a threat to society, and if try to gain power we should do whatever we can to prevent it.

Drugs which threaten families/societies :

Drugs that usually affects those around you two bad should not be allowed. Or at the very least regulated as much as we can to prevent them, if it doesn't, then illegalize them. Alcohol has a bad effect on tragic but if we managed to crack down better on drunk driving it would be less of an issue.

Bigotry :

The biggest threat to equality in society is bigotry, no equality results to conflict in society which can only be solved in two ways, the death of yourvictims or the rejection of the bigotry. Which one sounds more humane?

Rejection of science :

I.e. creationism, such rejection will leave society down a path of ignorance.

Ignorance :

Ignorance can be what often leads to discrimination, as well as stunting society and humanities efforts.

Antigay theology. God has NO problem with gays and bisexuals. ;)

"Facepalm" I thought we talked about this. God does not approve of sodomy. We had, like, three or four debates in that one.

Jesus says nothing about gays. And the old testament is crazy, anyone with half a fish for a brain can see it's basically the book of nuggan with myths attatched.

And you like have the right to your opinion, like. Kay, bro?

You will never change my mind. Stop trying .

Liberals! Haha! Jk. But seriously, we need to get rid of Al Qaeda and Hamas. Freaking terrorists. Making everybody's lives harder.

1 point

Yeah to your second point. And good thing we have a liberal president and liberal secretary of state who have gotten rid of more Hamas and Al Qaeda in four years then the last conservative president and conservative secretary could in 8 ._.

But he has also got more Americans killed in the wars during the process.

I don't think we can simply say what society would be better off without. If we were able to physically remove something that is deemed by the public as being "bad", there is a great likelihood latent function forming in response.

The following things need to be kicked out of your society -

Racism

Bullying

Corruption

Gender bias

Dishonest people

Useless people

People who don't follow the rules

Careless people

Criminals

Beggars

I think that's about it

What would you consider useless people, that is a very broad statement and very dangerous.

Racism, bullying, corruption, gender bias, dishonest people come mainly from ignorance.

People who don't follow the rules? Like laws? Well... first they'd have to be based on what is right and wrong, and that is another topic entirely.

Careless? From ignorance, also how tired the mind and body is. Mood also plays a part. Some individual qualities also might affect a bit.

Criminals? Remove money and most, if not all (extremely little would remain), crimes will be prevented. Also from ignorance.

Beggars... a society not based on money, no money at all. The result? One is that no beggars could exist, literally.

Useless people? Well, there are far too many humans on Earth as it is... so... a lot of useless people. There are two ways to "kick" it out. By taking things under control, by having people come to their senses, by making them aware of what is really important (it would require changing a lot of things over a long period, quick change is not possible). Or force. There is a third one (just waiting till humanity "matures") but I doubt we'll make it that far (it would simply take far too long) if people don't come to their senses, if they don't become aware enough, of the world they live in, so this option is not even available (if is then there's an very slight chance of actually happening, considering how things are and that they aren't improving).

From your point of view, ignorance and money are the root cause of all problems. However, the world cannot function without a proper system of money. Money was invented, so that there is proper order in the different systems of our respective countries. Also, I have not listed ignorance as it is not entirely bad. Some things are not known for good. You do not need to know everything. Believe me, ignorance is bliss ( not that forced ignorance is good ).

1 point

Religion because this is usually where the rest of the other problems come from.

nummi(1432) Clarified

I would've said religion too, but it's already on the way out.

I can think of these things:

War

Bullying

Killing

Military

Rudeness

Uncleanliness
