The progress of economies is not determined by culture, rather culture is far more influenced by economies. Capitalism must end, due to the general declining rate of profit and its tendency to reduce the need for economies of scale to be large to be profitable which increases competition, further reducing profitability along with a long list of other trends which does the same. There is a price floor, and capitalism is buried when the market pushes it below the floor. This is mainly done by overinvesetment and overproduction. The material base of a society, determines it's superstructure in far greater proportion than its superstructure determines the material base. |
