Trigger warning: is saying the N word always racist?

Sp,e people having good heart, but short fuse. I have said it, but NEVER meant it in a racial way. I believe that we are all one human race, and often get in trouble for my refusal to care about skin color. I just don't care. Color is morally neutral. It is neither good nor bad. Please stop pretending that racial divisions serve us well, or that causians should never say it, while everyone else can. I think NO ONE should say it, and that my past with this word is morally wrong, but my intentions dictate whether I am a racist or not, not using a mean blankity word. I am autistic, and have a short fuse, but since I was 12 years old, before I was a Christian, decided tyhat racial unity is best. I am sorry. I was wrong. Please forgive me. I mean it. I will try to be more Christlike. I am a sinner snd certain sins follow me. I hope we can come to a mutual understanding that saying blank makes me a blank, not a racist, and through Jesus and shared emphathy, we can work together towards racial unity, instead of being divided. United, we what? Divided we what? It takes one to what?

Looks like you've learned that the way to survive on this website is to be a racist troll.

Congratulations, you'll do fine here.

Aw, look, the liberal who cried racist. Ever since that Christian showed me racial unity from Acts 17:26, I have believed in racial unity for religious and poilitical reasons. You fasiled top read the part where I admitted to wrong doing, and pointed to the cross as a solution to sin. Yes I was racist until I was 30, untill I accepted the Biblical truth. I shared my sin to point to Jesus as thje solution to all sin, not just racial seperatist ideology. If you don't believe God's Word when it says we are all one human race, you are the racist, not me. I am a former racist, and current supporter of Biblical racial unity.

but NEVER meant it in a racial way

Right. You never meant your racial slur in a racial way. Good one.

noun (offensive)

a contemptuous term for a black or dark-skinned person.

The term nigger is now probably the most offensive word in English. Its degree of offensiveness has increased markedly in recent years, although it has been used in a derogatory manner since at least the Revolutionary War.

Don't play the race card, you don't even know me. I have believed in racial unity since I was 12, and just have the tempation to be a female dog when I get mad. I don't care about skin color, and black peoplke say it too.

Someone as open and naturally cordial as you will have difficulty in understanding that there are, and always will be a certain type of resentful, unforgiving person who will never submit to peaceful coexistence with their fellow human beings.

Hate and bitterness is the reason they're alive and if you extract these elements from their lives they would wither up and die.

Ya but black ppl can call white ppl crackers and get away with it? Huh? Just today a white Freund of mine was called a cracker in front of a teacher. Teacher didn’t give a fuck. But then my white friend called the student a nigger and he got suspended. Explain.

Side: Always bad, not always racist.

Black ppl can say a WORD THATS MEANT TO HURT THEIR FEELINGS! And call white ppl crackers. But when a white person calls a black person a nigger, everyone suddenly hates them and wants to beat the shit out of them. Defuq? Is this really who our world works? Hypocrisy?

Side: Yes.

Black kid: hay cracker

Black kid: your a craker

When you're black saying it, it can even be a term of endearment equivalent to close friend. ' my n'

Side: Always bad, not always racist.

If it ends in ah instead of er. I do need to watch my mouth, but having 4 mental illnesses from birth is so frustrating.

What if you're white and you say it to another close white/black friend? Just out of curiosity, no "gotchas" here.

White to white is questionable...

White to black is the direct way that the term became offensive and is undeniably the single worst scenario to be using it.

You will note that regardless of the innocence in using the word and your ensuing apologies along with your declaration of your desire to see racial harmony, there will always be those who don't wish to accept reconciliation but instead choose to perpetuate racial tensions as race related confrontations and aggression forms the main component of their life's blood.

Remove the racial hostility element from their lives and they get disorientated and their lives become meaningless.

Sad, but unfortunately true.

Side: Always bad, not always racist.

You're so right. I wish we could have racial unity for everyone, but the closer we get to end times, the worse it will get. I see blacks as my equals, they are one in Christ. I just need to do better somehow.

There is zero reason for you to use a word that you KNOW is historically racially motivated. It may have meant one thing in the past but it's application now is used as a derogatory measure, much like gay used to mean happy, it is now used to define another group often as a stereotype and often negatively.

Yes the word is used and can be a form of endearment from one black person to another but in general there is no good reason for you to use it.

Do you know how it feels to be autistic with 4 mental illnesses? I ask because very cleary you don't know thwe contents of my character, now the sever horrible pain I have been through in my personal life. You have no idea how it feeels to be ouyt of control mentaslly or physiacally, and racial unity has been part of my life and religious beliefs sincwe I was 30 years old. I am NOIT condoning my sin at all, just saying black people who say it are as wrong. Skin color should not dictate ANY mother freaking thing, and I I cared any less about skin color, I would have an anyrism over liberal race card playing. I don't want anything from you besides racial unity. UGH!

I feel like you are arguing Z when I answered C. Obviously I don't know your character, I only know what I perceive from you on an online forum. My argument isn't about you, it's about a word that shouldn't be used, period.

Side: Always bad, not always racist.

Why's that? I get that n*a has historically been racist, but I've seen very few instances of it being used in a racist way. Also, who's used gay as a negative? Many people in the LGBTQAIP silent-f community (I'm not sorry) consider themselves as gay, mostly because the definition of gay is happy.

If you used the word without malice and not knowing it's derogatory connotations then there's nothing to forgive.

Unlike some, who seek out insults, I read your 'preambles' in full and note that you used the word in ignorance of its underlying smack of racism.

The concept of a great big melting pot in which all races live in harmony with each other is truly beautiful but the stark truth is that the depth of hatred in some people is such that this euphoric state will most likely never be achieved.

I wouldn't insult your intelligence by trying to praise with insincere flattery but you are clearly a decent human being with the best intentions.

Only a inverse racist would condemn you for using the word within the context you described.

Ahahahaha!

And this is precisely the Orwellian nightmare that people like Antrim and his troll clones have turned CreateDebate into.

A place where, if you have a problem with the most racist word in the English language, you are therefore a racist.

A place where people like Antrim can attack you all day, claiming you deserve to be banned because you have alt accounts, and then nonchalantly admit less than 24 hours later that they are guilty of exactly the same thing.

Genius.
