CreateDebate is a social debate community built around ideas, discussion and democracy.
If this is your first time checking out a debate, here are some quick tips to help get you started:
Arguments with the highest score are displayed first.
Argument replies (both in favor and in opposition) are displayed below the original argument.
To follow along, you may find it helpful to show and hide the replies displayed below each argument.
To vote for an argument, use these icons:
You have the power to cast exactly one vote (either up or down) for each argument.
Once you vote, the icon will become grayed out and the argument's score will change.
Yes, you can change your vote.
Debate scores, side scores and tag scores are automatically calculated by an algorithm that primarily takes argument scores into account.
All scores are updated in real-time.

When you are ready to voice your opinion, use the Add Argument button to create an argument.
If you would like to address an existing argument, use the Support and Dispute link within that argument to create a new reply.
The idiot doesn't even realize that those who go to a packed church tomorrow would largely be his evangelical voters. You know, the ones who think he actually knows what he is talking about! To them I say PLEASE, go to church …... and pray. :-)
Trump wants you to go to a packed church tomorrow. Are you?
Cool. I don't attend church. Looks like I'm safe.
Of course, people are gonna have to stop hiding at some point. Otherwise the system will collapse, food banks will break down, and daddy's will begin forming militias to get food for them and their kids.
Seeing we are weeks behind Italy and other places, and they seem to be a look into what the future here will look like.
Nope. I have the right, to freedom of religion, and freedom, of assembly, and Daddy Government, has no right, to tell me, what to do. I also notice, you are only attacking Christians, are not other people.
"Daddy government" HAS the right AND the responsibility, to protect the rights AND HEALTH of its citizens. That includes the ones dumb enough to attend a large gathering during a pandemic AND the ones who have to RISK THEIR lives to care FOR THE SICK IDIOTS who were stupid enough to go to one!
The "Cowed" churches who thought enough of their congregations to close on their own, not needing "daddy government" to tell them to DO IT, are the ones who care for WE, the PEOPLE … not just the money! It would be nice if YOU showed some Christian respect to THEM.
You don't have the right, to treat me like a prisoner, and I do have the right, to go to church. Mind your own business, and no, the government as a collective, has no rights,m whatsoever, only individual, citizens.
I think you have gone quite mad (as opposed to "angry"). You imagine statements that have never been said and that everybody is against you. Take some Valium or something before you become dangerous to yourself or others. Please.
Ad homenim fallacy. We are discussing religious liberty, not mental disabilities. Do I need, to ignore, you? Or is that, your plan, all along. I am not angry, at least not at you, but you seem to be the angry one, as you have used a lot of caps, in your other posts. You have the right to not go to church, just as I have the right, to go to church. i am not sick, am not endangering anyone, so please feel free, to not play, the victim. I dislike the victim mentality, fo both Parties, and will not vote, for either.
People get infected and infect other people DAYS before they get sick.. Therefore, you MAY be infecting people without knowing it. That's the reason you shouldn't congregate..
I have the right, to religious liberty and freedom of assembly, and no one has the right, to tell me what, to do. My life, my choice.
Wtf? No dear, you are putting the lives of everybody you come into contact with at risk. That isn't fair to them. What did you say yourself just last night? Your rights end where mine begin. Remember? You don't have the right to infect me with a disease which could easily kill me so please stay at home.
I am not sick, and I have the right, to not be a prisoner, to Daddy government. i have done nothing wrong sugar tits, and will not change my mind. No one has the right, to tell me, what to do. if you don't want to take that chance, stay away.
Yes, governments do have powers - like the power to tell you that you aren't allowed to harm others that don't pose harm to you, and the power to arrest you if you violate those established rules. In our system, the government gets it powers from the consent of the governed through elections.
No governments don't have rights. Only individuals, have rights. i will never, change, my mind. I am not harming others, and I have the right, to not be a prisoner.
The government as a collective, does not have rights, only the individual, does.
Hun, if the individual has rights then the government's job is to protect those rights. By asking you to stay indoors they are trying to protect the lives of the old and vulnerable who likely will not recover if they contract covid-19.
The collective, does not have rights. That makes, no sense............
You are not listening. The collective (i.e. government's) job is to protect the rights of individuals. Do I have the right to inject you with HIV? Or should the government stop me doing that?
It doesn't matter whether you call them rights, powers, duties, responsibilities, or përgjegjësitë - a "government can create some restrictions", as I said.
Cool. New Orleans is ultra liberal, and their libby mayor let them infect each other like a lepper colony.
Orleans County, LA is Strongly liberal. In Orleans County, LA 80.8% of the people voted Democrat in the last presidential election, 14.7% voted Republican, and the remaining 4.5% voted Independent.
their libby mayor let them infect each other like a lepper colony.
This libby mayor?
In face of coronavirus threat, Mayor Cantrell imposes restrictions on bars, restaurants
With two dead and the number of positive coronavirus cases in Louisiana topping 100, New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell announced sweeping new restrictions on restaurants and bars late Sunday in an effort to further stanch the spread of the deadly disease.
The rules, which limit hours and crowds and require some restaurants to operate solely through a drive-through, were announced hours after a press conference in which a visibly exasperated Cantrell scolded the public for partying despite orders to practice social distancing and limit gatherings to 250 people.
This "conny President "encouraged" people to go to work , shop, "Don't worry, be happy!",.
while the virus was spreading like wildfire, AGAINST the strong advice of the medical profession, the "libby" congress, the mayors and most "libby Governors". This, after being warned by the last "libby President" that it could very well happen! This "conny President" even shut down the office that HE set up that WOULD HAVE BEEN much more prepared to handle it! We ALL know (even YOU), that this conny President would have strongly objected to a Mardi Gras shutdown! Just think of ALL THAT MONEY the capitalists would not have gotten!
Bronto'sGhost has an "invisible BRAIN"! (Kind of like this "conny President"! :-)
