Twilight vs Harry Potter
Twilight is the best romantic drama with the vampires and werewolves.Where would we go wrong,twilight has the evil villans like harry potter.But the villans in twilight are better they can acually put better emotions on the audiance.
But in harry potters movie there is no real villans in the movie.All there is are a couple of weird lokkin dudes dressed in black and the way to kill people is to say weird sounding words,a flash of lights come on and the persons dead.Not to forget on harry potter robert pattinson who plays edward cullen is sedrick diggery on harry potter.
"Twilight in the world is the best thing that ever happened to all of us." -Okay. Well then. WHAT THE HECK DOES THAT MEAN? I'm going to assume you meant to say "Twilight is the best thing to ever happen to the world".
First off - WHY? You give absolutly NO explanation as to WHY Twilight is so amazing. Why not explaning your statement a little bit more than this?
It makes no sense!
Not to mention, Twilight is probably one of the worst things to happen to girls in our generation, since it promotes abusive relationships to an extreme.

Really? With all the spells, potions, hexes, charms, jinxes, etc. that Harry knows it's easy. PLUS edward has to be at close range to do anything. Oh and about the mind reading all Harry has to do is think false strategies and wait for edward to fall for it. Sorry Twihard but you lose this one.
As much as I hate to get involved in so asinine a debate, is it not true that, within canon, of course, Edward Cullen is a telepath? If this were so, he would know each and every one of Harry Potter's "spells, potions, hexes, charms, jinxes, etc."
Telepath meaning he can read his mind, but as I said earlier you don't have to think about something before you do it and Harry can actually trick Edward into thinking he's going to do something and it's really a trap. But let's just say Edward heard in Harry's thoughs that he is going to try to trick him, Edward would then try to figure out which thoughs are traps and which Harry actually plans on attempting.

A telepath would know everything in the other person's mind. He would know every lie Harry tells.
Plus, as is obvious during the second movie (Edward's astral projections), he too has knowledge of the "dark arts".
Actually it is said that he can only hear the current thoughts the person is thinking and his ability works best when either A: he knows the person or B: he's fighting another vampire so i'm sure he can't rely on that.
Also alice could see the future.He wouldn't know that huh would he.Well if he would change his mind alice would still see it.Like when james figured it out alice saw it and where he was going.How bout that smart-ally.
Well I can do better if it's something real, and worth arguing about. Plus this person was spelling words wrong and they don't really make sense. Not worth getting all worked up on someone who is probably around 9 or 10.
No, I meant I am not as concerned about this since the subject matter is fictional. If it were real and affected me then I would give better arguments. This particular debate is not easy because neither of us know everything our subjects are capable of just what the author writes about them which is not a full bio. I don't know every spell harry knows and to be honest anything could happen. Someone could trip or get blinded for a second and it's all over.

Twilight is only a fad, the fan base has a majority of females. Tell me are you a fan of "chick flicks"?
The Harry Potter books killed the Twilight books in every aspect, just due to the graphicness of Twilight you assume it is a better movie/book? That is nonsense.
The Harry Potter movies/books are for all age groups, whereas Twilight is mainly for teens and young adults. However Harry Potter in its entire entity is a better work.
In Harry Potter the villains kill the closest thing Harry has to a father figure twice. Dumbledore and Sirius Black. Then in the process of killing dumbledore they almost killed Ron. They also burned ron's house down killed Harry's real parents and have near killed him countless times.

Draco and his buddies are wimps to say the least but they cause negative difficulties and oppose the good guy so they are villains they may not be good one's but that's beside the point. What about bellatrix lestrange who killed sirius black who happens to be her younger brother and one of Harry's father figures? How about Snape who murdered Dumbledore Harry's other great influence?
Bellatrix is still pysco.She is a phsco-path witch.Still means she kills but bellatrix was probably high or ssomething everyday.Look at her she looks like a gremline,dirty and disguisieing her real clean self.She think shes bad cuz shes high.Bloody-hell knows what.And if snape kills dumbledore he knew it was coming so why not.
Yeah but wizards don't know vampires are real and their fangs only come out when they smell good blood.Also harry potter is pale too.Edward could possibly be careful around him not to move fast OR any vampire things just like other humans.
P.S. How can you make this up listen to what they say and watch there movements on twilight to really know how they stay seceret from humans.
Fat chance,vampires look like regular people.No one would look in there eyes unless there red and thats very noticable.How come you have very little sense.The only ways to know theres a vampire on the premices is to read about or look it up and try to find someone that fits in with all that stuff.
The plot is better in Harry Potter and has much better character development than I have seen in Twilight. I am basing my opinions here on the books, but even with the movies, Harry Potter just seems more developed and intellectual, like there is actual mystery and palatable emotions that you receive from the actors. There are also stronger female characters in Harry Potter compared to Twilight; Bella just seems way too apathetic and so weak as a lead character in the first place aka the feminist's worst nightmare.
And yes, read all of the books for each sides to make this statement more plausible. lol
Twilight is like Underworld, except not sexy (no Kate Beckinsale), Not cool (No Viktor), not entertaining in any way (No meaningful violence) and completely lacking in all other redeeming qualities. Whereas Underworld gave us a violent, bloody war between vampires and werewolves, Twilight gives us teenage angst, Poor acting, Bad (absent?) plot, and some paranormal activity thrown in, in a vain attempt to separate itself from conventional teen movies. God, it's awful.
Harry Potter, while low in my regard, is at least above this.

So what does Robert Pattinson holding a role in a Harry Potter movie have to do with anything?
The Harry Potter Series has captivated men & women, children & adults...and continues to do so. The Twilight Saga hasn't. Simply put, there's no contest between the two.
You probably wouldn't like them, they are more about romance and teenage angst than fantasy. If you like Fantasy you should read Raymond Feist's Magician:Apprentice and/or Stephen Lawhead's The Dragon King Trilogy.
Surprisingly, I've liked the Sookie Stackhouse novels...the one's they based True Blood after. Never seen the show but have heard the books are much better. Shows aren't true to the books.
I read those books as well, just haven't gotten around to the new one yet. They're surprisingly good. Have you read Chris Paolini's Inheritance Cycle? I LOVE them.
harry potter is a masterpiece of the millennium....nothing better than that ever written..plotted..!!! twilight is the same boring romantic story about a couple which can never possibly exist in real...only a li'l innovative by introducing vampires and 'so called' werewolves...!! whereas harry potter is one of it's kind...a really optimistic story...wid all the showcase...action...thrill...suspense... givin d ever lasting good v/s evil a new height...!!! it includes a piece of story from every genre...nd for every age grp..!!!
This is extremely obvious. The female characters in Harry Potter don't fall apart the second a male character ignores them. They join Dumbledore's Army or search for Horcruxes. Bella can't navigate her driveway without tripping over her own two feet. Friendship and loyalty is an important part of Harry Potter. Harry, Ron, Hermione, Neville, Luna, etc. are there for one another even when their lives are on the line. Even though Luna seems to be rather odd when they all first meet her, they still become her friend and include her. When Bella first starts at her new school, she's quick to judge the people who take an interest in her, rather than being grateful for their friendship. She seems to think she's above them. Sadly, a few of the guys she meets automatically see her as a piece of meat, rather than a potential friend. In Harry Potter, Ron and Harry don't develop a crush on Hermione from the start simply because she's a girl.

Harry Potter is SO much more interesting, i have to agree. My cousin showed me part of Twillight- I fell asleep in the first 15 minutes! HARRY POTTER IS AWESOME!
twilight is good and impressive, but Harry Potter is far more interesting, exciting ,entertaining then Twilight. J.K Rowling's work is outstanding. I am happy to be attached to Harry Potter series.
