Under what conditions should somebody be banned from a debate?

I, for one, am not against any of those things, per se. However, I do not like it when somebody makes a mockery out of the debate or write extremely disrespective comments. Take what TyTheTiger wrote about Jews, I think it was in the Was Jesus White? debate. He said to get those dirty filthy Jews away from him. I believed that he was joking, but I still treated it with great anger. Side: closed mindedness

"I would say if someone goes out of their way to harass another debater then should he/she be banned." Like how Kinda and i do to each other. I agree with Sulith , and i gather Kinda does too , as we both have a field day banning each other. As for other reasons ; I would have to say when someone is attempting to omit another debater by degrading or belittling them via verbal assault using immoral manners. To enter into a debate here on CD , people must realize they are on a site which is also being used by impressionable young minors. To have a 10 year old kid remark in a debate on homosexualiy only for him to be attacked by some degenerate arsehole calling him a "pussy" or "butt munching faggot pansy boy" is unacceptable behavior. Its kinda an arsehole thing to do and it turns me into a fucking bitch every time. Side: trolling

I could always be wrong about Kinda But I doubt he called a 10year old kid those following words. Isn't it hypocritical for you to be attacking somebody for attempting to degrade, belittle, use immoral manners or verbal assault? Don't tell me that you only do it because Kinda does it. You have a choice not to and you (as far as I can tell) have decided to continuously use similar methods of writing, yet make a remark when other's do it? If you really want to get the moral high ground, 'win a battle' or prove Kinda wrong, the best way to do so is not to sink lower than his level. Side: illogical
