United States of America a Meritocracy?

Um. No. That's an extremely naive understanding of how power works. Power is not obligated to, nor has any interest in, helping you become powerful too.

The Leftist in America really need to move to London that should be a powerful move.

For any society or culture to prosper, there must be a work reward arrangement.

The merit system brings out the best in everyone, and grows an economy. Socialism creates a dead economy because hard work is punished, while laziness is rewarded.

The reasons people move up the ladder in businesses is not because of laziness, missing work, unreliability, etc.

It's because they worked hard and proved their merit to the company. Their reputation precedes them. They will find it much easier to move up the ladder of success.

The carrot and stick makes the world go round.

Yes, but the rewards are supposed to go to the people who are doing the work, not to the people employing them. You might want to think about that before you open your fat stupid mouth again.

I thought about it and came up with the same obvious conclusion, you being a fool!

The people who created those businesses showed the greatest merit, and DESERVE TO BE COMPENSATED MUCH MORE SO THEN THE PEOPLE WHO SIMPLY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THE OWNER'S HARD WORK AND SACRIFICE!
