I totally agree... how many times have we heard.... "it's the economy stupid"? The Democrat's extremist Leftist base will soon turn their Party into a third Party. When a Party allows the extremist parts of their base to run the show (as we witnessed every Democrat Presidential candidate caving in and declaring their support to end the Hyde Amendment), the American people will move to the middle. My being on this side is, admittedly, wishful thinking. A good economy and thriving Stock Market is important, but, when over half the country is one accident or illness from bankruptcy it is NOT a good economy. Having to hold two or more jobs in a household to pay the bills is NOT a good economy. Having to go into tons of debt to get you, or your children educated, is NOT a good economy. A good economy isn't the ONLY thing that makes a country great. The respect of the rest of the world (and NOT just respect for military strength), is just as important. Reliable allies (and BEING a reliable ally), is just as important. Taking care of the planet that our children will HAVE to LIVE in (not just SURVIVE), is just as important. Freedom and equality, are just as important. The RIGHT to "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness", is just as important. The preservation of a fair and unbiased justice system is just as important! The right to have our votes counted fairly, and NOT have our elected officials "purchased" by those who can afford to, is just as important! If WE, the people, can't … or refuse to see, that the economy (rescued over the last12 years), is DECENT, but is NOT the ONLY important consideration for U.S., Trump WILL, and SHOULD lose! One can only hope, and vote, and hope.... :-) If any of you are old enough to remember the radio show "The Shadow", you will remember he is said to have "The ability to cloud men's minds so that they could not see him." Let's hope that, on one of his trips to the "Orient", Trump didn't learn that trick. (After all, he doesn't read well ;-), and if we SEE him, what he is doing, he CAN'T WIN! Side: Do not agree
