Vehicular traffic should be banned from inner Cities.

With levels of pollution now causing serious health issues all non-commercial motorized  traffic should be banned from city centres. Emergency and  public transport would of course have priority over goods vehicles. Specially licenced taxis could have limited assess to these restricted urban zones.

In many ways I do agree. It can take longer by car to get somewhere then using the subway or biking, however many cities don't have the infrastructure or funds to really set up a mass transport for how many people it has. Ideally it would be great for people to bike or walk but not everyone can do that.

What is it you Democrats oppose the electric car and why would that be.

That sentence doesn't make sense.

Drastic situations call for drastic actions. We are all in the middle of a deepening environmental crisis and yet the authorities, worldwide continue to irresponsibly proceed with the mindset, of;- 'CRISIS, WHAT CRISIS?

What about the electric car should that be banned as well. Horse and Buggy is that an option for the Democrats in the Inner City.

Horse flatulence is less of an impact on the environment.

Walking seems to be viewed by today's snowflakes as something not even worth considering.

What is needed is for everyone to accept the findings of the world's most eminent scientists that earth is on the road to environmental disaster and to develop a sense of urgency and adopt the necessary measures which may avert this global catastrophe.

Are the world's most eminent scientists not in favor of the electric car.
