CreateDebate is a social debate community built around ideas, discussion and democracy.
If this is your first time checking out a debate, here are some quick tips to help get you started:
Arguments with the highest score are displayed first.
Argument replies (both in favor and in opposition) are displayed below the original argument.
To follow along, you may find it helpful to show and hide the replies displayed below each argument.
To vote for an argument, use these icons:
You have the power to cast exactly one vote (either up or down) for each argument.
Once you vote, the icon will become grayed out and the argument's score will change.
Yes, you can change your vote.
Debate scores, side scores and tag scores are automatically calculated by an algorithm that primarily takes argument scores into account.
All scores are updated in real-time.
To learn more about the CreateDebate scoring system, check out the FAQ.
When you are ready to voice your opinion, use the Add Argument button to create an argument.
If you would like to address an existing argument, use the Support and Dispute link within that argument to create a new reply.
Overall, no one here is too annoying because I don't let you fuckers get to me. :)
You guys are too blatant when you troll, my brain goes 'red alert this is designed to make me angry' and I just laugh at it or ignore it depending how unfunny it is.
The one who tries most to be annoying is definitely Brontoraptor. He is not the most annoying though because he fails due to how blatant he is. xD
Maybe I am the most annoying member. I wouldn't know.
So, you ASK a question just so you can answer it and call me names???? DUDE!! I guess I DO annoy you..
But, since you brought it up - I WON'T say his name, because I'm not here to make people FEEL stupid - but, there IS a participant here who says that I'm NOT Jewish because he doesn't like my Jewish heritage, or something like that.. I NEVER did get what he was actually saying..
But, it's doesn't matter, cause the guy who said that is either STUPID, makes up history, or HATES Jews.. I dunno which, and I don't care..
You do not have jewish heritage. You admitted it. You said your father was a reformed Jew. Therefore, you great grandfather was not a jew. Nor was your great great grandfather. And your great great great granddad.. maybe didn't even know what a Jew was!
Here's how it works.. IF a son CHOSE his own way to practice his religion, it has NOTHING to do with how his father practices it, or how his grandfather practiced it, or even his great grandfather before him.. You got things backwards.. To think lineage moves in THAT direction is NUTS..
Plus, CHOOSING to be a reform Jew changes NOTHING in my heritage, it changes NOTHING in my bloodline, and it changes NOTHING about how my ancestors practiced Judaism... All of my ancestors were Jews. I'm as pure a Jew as you'll find..
Now, if you have some Talmudic law to back up your claim, I'll look into it.. But, all you got is your flapping gums and your antisemitic dick in your hand.
The onus of proof is on the affirmative statement.
But given the nature of this website, no one can provide any evidence about anything concerning you, other than to reference the things you’ve posted on this site, which provide nothing impressive.
I’m not here to troll. Your analogy fails to recognize the valid point of my initial post. I decided to go with the analogy because you pretend to be superior while frequenting the same dive bar as the rest of us. But a sloppy drunk is a sloppy drunk regardless of their drink preference. So you can sip your wine and feel all kinds of ways about it, but your caliber of debate is no more impressive than the beer drinker. The difference is that the beer drinkers know it.
And anyway, fine wines are for ego fluffing, not refinement.
Something is not proof unless it is accepted. I can show you all the evidence in the world, and if you never change your mind, I did not present you proof. In other words, presenting you proof would only encourage your arbitrariness. You can say, "this is not proof", and you would be telling the truth, even if your position is wrong, or what I present is proof to someone else.
I will say this though. Saying you are something does not make you what you say you are. In fact, saying you are something or that you have a certain quality tends to make you look more insecure than confident.
People who are secure don't brag or boast. Pride goes before a fall, a haughty spirit before destruction.
The difference between a secure person's brag and an insecure person's brag is that the insecure person needs people to say 'yes you are' but the secure person is the only cheerer in the audience they need. :)
People who brag look insecure, whether or not they are in fact insecure.
The point is, sometimes it matters more how things look than how things actually are. Your personal behavior in front of others has an immeasurable effect on the physics of the world you live in.
Or I guess to make it simple and connect it to other concepts... Bragging tends to have more negative karmic repercussions than positive. For the most part, people don't respect bragging.
In fact, even when someone is legitimately competent, bragging will often lower the opinions of that person to those who are witnesses to the bragging.
OR you know, there is that old saying... The bigger they are, the harder they fall. How much so with a big ego.
The most annoying person on the site is Negligentt the rat man, but haven't heard from him in a while. He's obviously a sorry sum beach. We should throw him in a cage if we find him.
