I would say yes. Espicially "the five find outers". "Fatty" is too his friends, as what "Sherlock Holmes" is to "Watson". "P.C. Goon" and "Inpecter Jenks" is the same as "Inspecter Lastrade" seperated into two people. In fact, in one story "Fatty" achually read a Sherlock Holmes book. Quite a few of Blyton's books are achually children having a 'detecive adventure'.
