Was Jesus a Capitalist.

If you look from the outside (Iโ€™m Pagan),  you would think the Christian Nationalists are extremely selfish and donโ€™t want any social programs.  But to read about Jesus, he supported feeding the poor, etc, etc.  I really canโ€™t believe he would support what Christians today support

Was Jesus a Capitalist.

Hello S:

Trading an item that has worth for another item that has worth is capitalism personified.. Man has been doing that since we climbed down from the trees. Fact is, if we DIDN'T do that, we'd STILL be in the trees.

Feeding the poor has NOTHING to do with how one MADE their money.. It has to do with how one SPENDS it.

Supposedly, Jesus was a carpenter. Dya think he did his carpentry for free?

No it isn't you irritating dolt. Trade predates capitalism by tens if not hundreds of thousands of years. Capitalism is a system of creating economic prosperity by exploiting the labour of the individual. You literally take time away from people so that you can better enjoy your own time. That's capitalism.

1) There's a difference between social programs and Socialism. We reject Socialism which is theft, of which Jesus opposed.

2)The right wing gives away more of their money. The left virtue signals to try and get the unearned praise as if they were more giving than they are, which is self righteousness, of which Jesus opposed. In fact, verbally attacking fake virtue signalers is what Jesus was known for most. He used the word "hypocrite" a lot.

Nah! He was a bleeding heart, long-haired, peace-loving, anti-establishment, liberal hippie freak with strange ideas ... everything conservatives hate. ;-)
