Do we live in a simulated reality?

This is the Matrix. There is no spoon? What is real?

God is great and the simulation is key.

God doesn't exist even if God exists because classifying him as "God" doesn't describe what he actually is, just what he wants you to think he is. You could deceive a primitive tribe for example into thinking you're a god with technology they can't understand but them calling you a god has nothing to do with anything except their primitive perception of what you are. If some "God" exists it's no different than that, it's just some higher entity we don't understand.

Number one: I do not agree that there are "bound to be more simulations than actual universes" as some people say because just as most planets don't have life most universes are probably much more simple in their physical laws or more chaotic than ours and don't harbour life.

Number two: Civilizations that could produce a simulation as detailed as our universe are bound to be much more rare than ones that simply make probability calculations of virtual universes. In other words there are no actual sentient beings in it, it is just an algorithm trying to work out what would happen in an actual universe without actually building a detailed simulation. We for example, are ALREADY doing this, but are no where near having the ability to make a simulation like our universe would have to be if it was a simulation.

Number three: Nomenclature licks chimpanzee balls.

Number cumbersome johnson blocking hooziewhatsits: There is no definitive mathematical proof of it despite what some physicists claim. These "proofs" could simply be the errors inherent in the methods they are using to reach their conclusions. For example, they claim to have found binary code in their supersymmetry equations. They where using a computer that runs on binary code to do the calculations, problem solved. Not to mention we are forced to act as if the universe is fundamentally mathematical because mathematics is our primary tool of physics, but there is a massive possibility that our reality is not fundamentally mathematical. In fact, if it was that would probably indicate that it is indeed a simulation.

I mean, we could. But there is no proof. Ill admit that weird shit does happen that defies sience
