What if slurs like faggot had evolved to describe not gay people, but people too willingly submissive to unworthy masters?
I think that we need to bring this back in modern society. Too many people demand to be coddled and taken care of, too many people demand their freedom stripped for the sake of security, too many people enslave themselves to the whims of governments they admit to be untrustworthy, and worse, they demand it of others. I have decided to separate the meaning of slurs from any reference to a person's sexuality and unapologetically refer to these people as faggots, as I believe they should be referred to by a strong pejorative. Hopefully, we can stigmatize eager submission to unworthy authority as we once unjustly stigmatized homosexuality.

True, but I was trying to describe the origin of our social structures and why homosexuals are reviled throughout history, not the etymological root of the word in question.
