What Genre of music is the best?
Everybody knows that there are many genres of music such as: Jazz, Jazz rock, Blues, Blues rock, Country, Rock'n'Roll, Hard Rock, Pop Rock, Glam Rock, R'n'B, Dance music, Electronica, Techno, House, Folk, Art Music: Baroque, Classical, Romantic; Alternative, New Age, Gospel, Latin music, Reggae, Nostalgia, World, Classical, Ethnic, Metal, Garage, Punk, Funk. What Genre of music is the best?
every genre of music is beautiful in its own way, so that this debate can go on forever, so we can not share what genre the best and what the worst, everyone will listen to the genre that will be close to his heart
No! I definetely do not agree with you. because when you listen to the house music it really makes you have a headache!!! Therefore you do not feel yourself comfortable!!!
house music it really makes you have a headache!!!
Maybe it gives you a headache, but then that's you, so you're really not disputing the point.
House, techno, dubstep, etc wouldn't be popular if people didn't like them, music snobbery is a particularly retarded form of snobbery, people tell you to not like one particular vibration of air over another, I particularly like dance music and think that those that down talk it are nit-pickers, that want to take away from someone else's fun.
Therefore you do not feel yourself comfortable!!!
Again you may not, but others may, such as myself.
very rarely! It mostly helps to go crazy and to have a vertigo! =DDD As for soft pop rock music, that's really able to lift your mood and cheer you up! Because when you listen to music you do not pay attention only to the rhythm you also pay attention to the lyrics! When the lyrics are interesting for you, and when it attracts you, your mood can be changed to good side or even to bad side!
First of all, I assume that this debate is unreasonable. Different people, different tastes. (there is a very popular witty saying in Russian language) It looks like arguing which color is better: green or blue. As for which genre of music is more or less relaxing, beneficial or delightful, I would doubt that "pop rock" is the one...lyrics? Firstly are you sure that their lyrics are "interesting" or even appropriate? I don't think so. Secondly, when the person is really tired or want to get some pleasure from music, he/she is not very likely to listen to the lyrics at all. Consequently, your argument is hardly valid.
Еhis debate is not about who has a taste of music, but about what genre of music is relatively the most optimal, as I understand, if so, then many people approve of classical music, including me
Indeed, if we consider your opinion as for free-listeners yours bit true, but if it's considered in the field of professional artists- in that case your opinion is CRAP! Cuz professional artists i have in mind singers, musicians really care of dat! Cuz it's their work! They give heed to every single and specific segments which are crucial!
Soft pop rock?! I semi agree if you want to fall aslepp, it might help... But not if you want to listen to good music at any time in your life. Now, dance, dubstep, house, rock, metal, acoustic rock, punk, pop punk...
Jazz and rock'n'roll are forever!!! Cuz these genres were the roots of almost all the contemporary genres! For instance it was firstly invented jazz, then from jazz it went to rock- rock'n'roll then to POP!!!!Dat's why JAZZ is 4EVER!!!!
Dude i am your man! Because the JAzz genre of music is really root of the modern music! Therefore we are able to reckon it as an evolution! For instance also from Rock'n'roll it went to the hard rock. hevy metal, post rock, then from post rock to punk rock , then from punk rock to alternative. Into the bargain, From pop it went to Funk, from Funk it went to Dance music, House, Techno - The musics which we listen nowadays!!!
or instance it was firstly invented jazz, then from jazz it went to rock- rock'n'roll then to POP!!!
I'll have to disagree with you there as Jazz was as any other genre just a new version of an older one, Jazz gave R'n'B, which was re-named rock and roll to appeal to white audiences, Rock went one way, R'n'B gave birth to Motown, which forms Disco, Hip Hop, and House, techno, trance, Nu-Nrg, etc Rock gave birth to Prog, psychedelica, metal, and various sub-genres.
POP is not a genre, and never will be simply because it contains songs from every genre, that become popular.
I think that, that is up for debate, pop songs are generally commercially produced songs from any genre, that are short with no real artistic range. As it doesn't have any specific Rhythm, it has no specific sound to underpin it and even though some people may call it a genre, it would be difficult to categorize every pop song in one description.
I'm a big fan of dubstep, although I'm more fond of the Reggae Roots and dirty dubs sound, I do like a bit of that Brostep as well, if you are interested, this is a friend from California that makes some decent wobbly brostep and techno, all his tracks are free to download, I think you may need a soundcloud account to do it, but it's a great place to get free underground music. http://soundcloud.com/johnnyperaza
Clearly no music is the best genre. Everybody has their own different tastes in music. Like videogames. No Halo extreme players will say Mario Kart Wii is the best game. But no Mario Kart Wii players will say Halo is the best game.
Yes it's pretty beneficial for your brain! A lot of people listen to classical music to relax, which is fine, because there’s plenty of relaxing classical music out there. There’s just something in a work by John Adams or Josquin Desprez that puts you at ease better than, say, a tune by Blood Brothers.
Music is a part of our life. We listen to different types of music every day.But everyone has different tastes and preferences for music. Someone likes rock, hard rock, however other person may do not like rock or hard rock. Others may like classical music, jazz or pop. In my opinion, classical music is more beneficial and useful in comparison with other genres of music. You may have heard of the Mozart Effect, the theory that listening to classical music can make you smarter. It is contended that classical music activates the brain, reduces blood pressure, reduces stress, imroves memory and it has a good influence on mood.
