What about human nature draws us to war?

Many kids my age love to play call of duty and other war games, read books sometimes about wars and as kids play soldiers or cowboys or knights.

Why are we drawn to this? In our minds is it drilled in so hard to assert our dominance?

What do you think?

I think its the imagination of war that draws us to play Call of Duty or read war books or watch movies and TV shows about war. Well look around us today war is going on in the other countries because they aren't geting along.

No, it's the generally inherent violent nature of the humans (I say 'generally' as not ALL humans are inherently violent, but the vast majority are).

When we start dealing with people we quickly come to the conclusion that the world is full of ass holes just begging to get shot ;)

Nations are, as Kurt Vonnegut would say, Granfalloons (a group of people who outwardly choose or claim to have a shared identity or purpose, but whose mutual association is actually meaningless). Grandfallons will fight each other if they know they have something to gain or fear they have something to lose.

It has absolutely nothing to do with Call of Duty.

The nature of the beast does draw people to war because nations can't get along with each other.
