What about human nature draws us to war?
Many kids my age love to play call of duty and other war games, read books sometimes about wars and as kids play soldiers or cowboys or knights.
Why are we drawn to this? In our minds is it drilled in so hard to assert our dominance?
What do you think?

Nations are, as Kurt Vonnegut would say, Granfalloons (a group of people who outwardly choose or claim to have a shared identity or purpose, but whose mutual association is actually meaningless). Grandfallons will fight each other if they know they have something to gain or fear they have something to lose. It has absolutely nothing to do with Call of Duty. 1
