Unequivocally, the best novel of all time is Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand.

Also, with great consideration, The Fountainhead is among the elite novels as well, which is also by Ayn Rand.

Notable mentions are Nineteen Eighty-Four and Animal Farm by George Orwell.

Lastly, the Harry Potter series is among the best science fiction fantasy novels of all time, which is side by side with the Lord of the Rings.

I agree, those two are both extraordinary novels, but I quite like The Lord of the Rings, by JRR Tolkien too.

Of course, those match your ideology perfectly.

Goosebumps. I had the whole collection until I grew too old and gave it away to my nieces and nephews.

Harry Potter. Yeah I'm trolling, who cares about a bunch of pussy english school kids.

The Alex Rider series by Anthony Horowitz is great! Then there is Harry Potter which I’m sure has already been mentioned.

The best books I have ever read have been written by Michael Crichton. My favorites of his are probably (not in any particular order) Sphere, Timeline, State of Fear, Pirate Latitudes, and possibly Jurassic Park and Prey. If you haven't read any of them, you should. They're really, really good.
