To follow along, you may find it helpful to show and hide the replies displayed below each argument.
To vote for an argument, use these icons:
You have the power to cast exactly one vote (either up or down) for each argument.

Yes, you can change your vote.
Debate scores, side scores and tag scores are automatically calculated by an algorithm that primarily takes argument scores into account.

Obviously I like it... I have that link posted on my 'About Me' section.
"As a Libertarian, I seek a world of liberty; a world in which all individuals are sovereign over their own lives and no one is forced to sacrifice his or her values for the benefit of others. I believe that respect for individual rights is the essential precondition for a free and prosperous world, that force and fraud must be banished from human relationships, and that only through freedom can peace and prosperity be realized. Consequently, I defend each person's right to engage in any activity that is peaceful and honest, and welcome the diversity that freedom brings. The world I seek is one where individuals are free to follow their own dreams in their own ways, without interference from government or any authoritarian power."
What's not to like?
So, is that really you or is this just your brother?
Yes this is the true owner of this account I have a few hours of personal time and all of them are going asleep so I am bored. SO how has it been here?
2. When someone defends LGBT, he is defending government intervention into the lives of individuals. Check out the boy-scouts situation. Or the notorious toilet law, which forces schools to allow boys in girls' restrooms, and vice versa.
This would also go the other way meaning LGBT people would also get maximum freedom with minimal government intervention, no prison sentences for being Gay or pro Gay, you won't get into trouble for talking about being gay unlike Russia now I don't think you'd like it.
1. There should be no government intervention, as long as someone doesn't break the laws - that applies to anyone, or at least should be that way.
2. In fact, the gay rights movement heavily relies on the government. It needs new legislations, and term redefinitions, to continue it's course. The real reason behind this, is that gay people need constant confirmation from outside, that they are OK - something they are not sure of themselves.
3. No Russian laws set prison sentences for being gay. Anyone who says otherwise is a liar, at best. Saying something to kids, can be a crime, you can understand it yourself. Like if you tell kids that they can cross the street without looking at the cross lights. The Russian law you refer to, is aimed at protecting minors against harmful information. And anyway, the amendment was made to the administrative code, so there is no criminal punishment involved. For Russian individuals, it's only a fine, which is limited to 125 Euros.
more liberties is always good less spending is always great. less taxes to enjoy the fruits of your labor and not being expected to take care of anyone other than who you wish to. also to not be mandated into it
