Well, I don't really watch TV for my news, but the only news channel I watch these days is Fox News at 3:00AM when Red Eye is on. It really is a funny ass show.

Side: Fox

RED EYE ROCKS......its humorous and they make fun of everyone, including themselves.

I personally watch FOX....the rating tell why its the best.

the rating tell why its the best.

Perfect representation of Fox-viewer logic (and grammar)...

By that logic, you would have to believe Obama is a great President because he got the most votes, right?

Which so called "news channel" is the best, Fox for the laughs. If you value honesty and the truth, anyone else will do.

So you like the Dan Rather news types that lie, cheat and steal to get a story...a false one at that?

Dan Rather got caught...he was not so lucky. The rating show where people think the fair and balanced news comes from....and its not the sources you are saying.

They could not report the stories that they do if they were outright lies and still stay on the air.

Beck irrates me...his style...but what he says, he does his homework and is right on. He also blames where they blame should go....he was not a Bush lover...I do not think he is biased.....he tells it like it is. And the truth hurts.....

"The rating show where people think the fair and balanced news comes from....and its not the sources you are saying."

Fox news is widely acknowledged by serious people as being the most corrupt news station in the western world, they are the greatest liars and inciters of hatred allowed on air in the west, their unique brand of extreme right wing propaganda is more akin to what the good people of North Korea see on their tv screens, they have high ratings for a number of reason, of which the most prominent are:

1.America is a very insular society and its corrupt media and rabid nationalist element (particularly post 9/11) has ensured that many americans have fallen prey to the indoctrination of their media, Fox is worst offender of this.

2.Fox appeals to the lowest common denominator in its proogramming, its humour is both cheap and ignorant, americans culture has steadily degraded and is all about instant gratification, thus Fox serves this innate cultural desire with its loud ignrant personalities (O Reilly, Hannaity, Becketc. etc.), the programming on Fox could never qualify as Journalism, it is pure propaganda.

3.They tell americans exactly what all americans would love to beleive, they elave out the hard realities that americans would rzather not deal with i.e. they are largely responsible for much death and destruction across the world in following they're own self interested agenda, the muslim world doesnt hate them because they are free or christian ior whatever other bullshit they shove down the american public throat, the muslim population hates them, because they kill them, occupy and destroy their countries, prop up brutal dictators in order to steal the countries oil while the majority suffer, and support for the aparthied regime in Isreal that has turned Gaza into a prison where access to clean running water, food and health care are becoming impossible and mean women and children are starving.

Fox News is not Journalism, but please don't take my word for it, i mean your just going to dismiss me as some anti-american leftist or whatever other label will satisfactorily allow you to dismiss my opinion, i challenge you to do your own investigating, Fox is taken seriously by no one that isn't heavily indocrinated, simple as.

The best news Network would have to be The Onion.

Side: The Onion

"BBC, do everything they can to remain unbiased"

I actually think Channel 4 news and ITV do a slightly better job, BBC just manage to hide their bias very well, if you think im wrong watch John Pilgers new documentary:

Hey look, something we can agree on. I'm not that big of a fan of the BBC as well. If you want an example of Big Media, they are the world's largest broadcaster.

It has conservatives and liberals in each argument to make it fair and balanced.

When I watch Fox, I see Hannity's Great American Panel that while it has both conservatives and liberals, the conservatives outshout the liberal (notice the plural and singular) so hardly a word is put in edgewise against Hannity's or his puppet's points. Same went for Beck and goes for O'Reilly.

I agree with you.

It's not so much as a bunch of bitching liberals though...like others

I do not expect to get a full representation of the Republican opinion from MSNBC or a full representation of the Democratic opinion from Fox, and you are fooling yourself if you think otherwise.

Side: Fox

Depends on ones vision of best. If your into one sided debates where the anchors cut off the other side and refuse to allow equal amounts of time in order to remove viable opposition to themselves, then fox is your choice. Other then that, I guess CNN Situation Room but only because I always either get sidetracked or bored when channel shifting.

Meh? I don't watch much TV... Of the major American channels I have the usual choices like CNN... which leans very left, MSNBC which is a joke! The networks... also pretty leftist! Or FOX which leans right...

You're suffering from a delusion that your mainstream news media covers the full spectrum of views because some are left leaning and some are right leaning, the reality is you are being deprived of the truth, the news media is set up to give the public the impression that the full range of views are covered the reality is only a narrow slice of the information you should receive is disseminated on your mainstream media. If you want a reliable american news station i strongly urge you to at least give this one a try, what have you got to lose:

Well.. In my place, for World news people prefer most often BBC or CNN. I personally don't trust any of those. I just read the Newspaper or come online for the World News. Infact the idea of merging Al jazeera is a great Idea!

Side: Fox

Well, I don't watch a lot of news channel, but I know which are not the best. ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSBC, and HLN, and CNBC. At only leaves FOX, FOX News Channel and FOX Business. These are prefer, but I don't consider them the best.
