It freaks me out a little, so do men bodybuilders. I think we should try to be healthy but I'm not an extremist.

Yeah, im not into the male bodybuilders either.

A nice healthy bod is fine but once your veins are popping cuz your muscles are so tight then i believe that thats not really healthy or appealing.

Whilst I personally don't find that sort of body attractive (on either gender), I have not the slightest doubt that some do find it a desirable attribute. Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. I believe it's more about women being able to achieve individual excellence than about appearance anyway.

The amount of dedication it takes for a woman to achieve that sort of musculature is astonishing. My father happens to work with one of the leading "clean" female bodybuilders in Australia (no drug enhancement). During her off season she looks like any other woman, it's only when she's in training that she'll look like the women in the links. The dietary regime is incredibly strict, as is the exercise regime, just like any other sport. I applaud the effort that it takes for a woman to reach that level of musculature

To each his/her own. I'm not going to judge them, nor am I going to date them.

Akulakhan no one asked you to date them you where asked to debate them.

Ahh, but don't you want to be cluttered by pointless tidbits of information?

They scare me. to have anyone with that much muscle is unnatural. I don't think people should get that big. I don't care about some muscles, but when your arms are bigger than a watermelon It's kind of nasty. I don't care for any type of bodybuilder- male or female.

They get too big. Who'd want a woman so muscular that they are double the size of the man?

Look, personally, I see the whole process as a sex change.

The focus of bodybuilding is to "be buff," to lift that extra 10kg, and so on.

Being realistic, women don't do a hell of a lot of heavy lifting in life. I suppose this just goes back to the debate of 'can women do what men do.'

Man lifts 100kg, woman wants to lift 100kg too. Woman lifts 100kg, but man now lifts 200kg. This saga of weight lifting competitivness leads to the usage of performance-enhancers such as steroids, which have a substantial effect on the human body.

FACT: Steroids do not necessarily make an individual "stronger," they simply add more hormones to the human body in order for it to supply itself with hormones at a faster rate. This is why most male users find their genitals shrinking, as it no longer needs to provide as many hormones as it did before.

When women use steroids, they become more male, which is why women in the past have eventually led themselves to having a sex change in order to complete the body transformation which had all started by the use of steroids.

Therefore, it is evident that female bodybuilders are, literally, making themselves more male.

I agree mostly with what you have said.

Except there is varying levels of bodybuilding , or body sculpturing.

Not all body builders get into the 'roids.

Some actually think that is cheating.

I never claimed that all women were, but that steriods do (whether we want them to or not) create an impact in the world of bodybuilding.

I know not think its not attractive its just gross because they like men and plus their beast turn into a man chest thats really nasty I would not ever want to date a woman body builder because it can also be a man you are dating if you know what I mean.

Personally, female bodybuilders scare me to death with all of those muscles being flexed. Why? Because if there is reverse domestic abuse, are the cops really going to believe that the women is beating up the man.

They are O.K. and should not be shunned because they want to be a bodybuilder. They are the same as anyone else.
