Like most of the changes to this site, the re-design makes things a lot more streamlined. The new profile feels much less cluttered and is easier to use. Keep up the great work!

Hey, you guys do a good job. Keep it up.

The minimum length for an argument is 50 characters. The purpose of this restriction is to cut down on the amount of dumb jokes, so we can keep the quality of debate and discourse as high as possible.

I like it. Things need to be changed once in a while to keep things fresh.

The one thing I don't like as much is the smaller ally list on the left, I would rather see the allies/enemies/hostile list larger, but I'll get used to it.

P.S., I like the other parts of the update, too! I really like the mouse-over highlighted links much more than the mouse-over underlined links. Keep it up, I've learned a lot about web design from the development of this site. And I just noticed that you changed the responses to "Support" and "Dispute." Cool.

This is just like facebook- the page layout is changed and for the first month, most people hate it. But eventually, they get used to is and accept the fact that it won't change back, and they also forget how it used to be! So even if some people hate it, they'll come around I'm sure. I don't love it or hate it... yet. I still need to get used to it.

Side: Needs some getting used to

It doesn't look to me as though people dislike the changes. For the most part, I've read that we all like it. I haven't used the "My Profile" page enough, really, to know whether this version is more useful or not, but it does appeal to me for some reason.

I love it.

Except that it is now more obvious that my efficiency is only 80%. /:

But that's my fault.

Great work!

I like it, it makes the page more useful.

My only thought is that "About Me" should be the first tab we see... Not what we've been up to... but that's me.

Agreed, I would think that the ability to define a custom arrangement of the tabs wouldn't too difficult a feature to add. As I wrote this it occurred to me that it'd be useful to have a "watch debate" feature that allowed you to mark a debate and be alerted when new arguments are added. Essentially the "New Debate Activity" alert extended to more people than the debate creator. Not that this has anything to do with you comments.

I think it's more difficult to use, especially on my cell which is how I usually access the site.

Plus, aesthetically it feels bulky and squeezed. I'm not a fan.

I think the other format was better, and could be rearranged a little to streamline the feel of the page and maximize efficiency. However, this is the wrong direction.

Side: I don't like it

I really like it, except for the fact that comments are not directly on the mainpage of the profile. I rather enjoy having comments right there to look at.

Huh...it's quite Twitter style. Ain't got a problem with it YET though. I don't go to my profile that much to begin with.

Side: I don't like it

I hadn't even noticed until now! It looks good to me but I'm not certain if I wouldn't rather have a little bit of this and a little bit of that to read as I peruse my profile, which is rare to begin with. Having all the information in front of you in categorical order seems streamlined but in fact, I do not believe it is. I believe it's too much information in one category. I like the efficiency meter though!

PS: I've taken some time to look at it differently over the last couple of days and I must say I like it from another perspective. When I look at someone else's profile all the information is right there and the most important things are right up top. I think the Brain Trust has done a great job on this.

I hadn't noticed! Instead of downvoting, could someone have explained what happened, other than a vague mentioning of tabs? Stupid internet people.
