I dare the Westboro Baptist Church to protest in New York. I may be a semi-peaceful person, but I will punch them in their faces if they bring their "God Hates Fags" signs here. Or "More Dead Soldiers." I mean, is that a joke? They picket funerals--of soldiers, of gays, of plane crash victims! Why?! They picket pop concerts and theatres and the Academy Awards. They were supposed to come to my town for a funeral, and a friend and I made signs to picket back with. Mostly just verses straight out the bible to dispute their message of hate. BUT in the end we didn't go protest them because they weren't able to make the funeral. Side: Insanity
well, the structure of this debate was really just made for bashing. no one is going to say they've got it right. to me they're a step closer to being as bad as Radical Islam. All they have to do is behead thousands of innocent women and children. well, may take a while. of course they're insane, like most of these religious fanatics. Could you please explain how the ACLU is comparable to the KKK? I'm just a little confused because I was under the impression that the ACLU was an organization that fought for the civil rights guaranteed to everyone under the constitution whether or not the ACLU likes or agrees with the people they are defending. I'm not sure what the ACLU and the KKK have in common other than that they are both organizations. Unless you have a problem with the constitution or civil rights I'm not sure how could dislike the ACLU. Side: Insanity
They were almost responsible for a blood bath that would have gone down in a Jewish neighborhood. Luckily the National Socialist Party realized this and backed out at the last second. They fought for the rights of pregnant women to use cocaine without doctors trying to stop them. They did NOT fight to protect that Texas dude who killed two burglars. The Rush Limbaugh thing was just for show. The major cases (like that Texas man) they don't care about. So because of the ACLU, a bunch of holocaust survivors can get in the middle of a riot and babies can be born deformed. Sounds pretty bad to me. Side: Insanity
I've been against them for a few years now, ever since I first heard of them. I've seen youtube videos of them, I've joined facebook groups against them, and I've researched them a few times. I think they are despicable people and the worst part of it all, to me, is the fact that they oppose the government and the people that defend their rights to oppose them. Not to mention the fact that they train their children young- before they can think for themselves. Side: Insanity
While i do hate these people so musch and want them to stop breathing my air, nothing that theyre doing is ilegal. They are being huge dcks, but there is nothing that can be charged against them. However, that being said, there is still ways for us to defeat their protests. Take the KKK for example. I do hate the KKK, but they actually counter protested the westboro baptist church. I don't think that they should be allowed to do this, but they have every right to. all we can do is counter protest, help support the people they are hating, and maybe a fire will accidentally start in their church or an anvil falls on their leader. I hate that thing more than anything else in the world. They are beyond rude. Saying God hates gay people is just monstrous, and then to picket at a fallen soldiers funeral? That is the work of the devil. The soldiers give their life for this country and deserve to be treated with respect, as do their families who know doubt are going through a lot of pain. God doesn't hate gay people, he hates the Westboro Baptist Church. I don't understand how they can do it, thinking that they are doing whats right and God loves them. I hate that "church." It's the logical result of any religion taken too seriously, that it would turn into something crazy. And since religion is meant to be taken seriously, they have it exactly right. So good for them for exposing the inherent flaws in their silly religion, hopefully it turns all the sane people off to the whole ridiculous business of a daddy in the sky. OK. So forget the fact Snyder is that way. Listen, it is common decency to respect a persons funereal. It is terribly rude to celebrate a persons death. These guys will get shot. Also they are terrorist misinterpreting the way of God. it disgusts me. Side: They've got it right!
