struggle to adapt and survive I don't think so. We humans have adapted so much because of our intelligence we invent things to help with the things that threaten our survivability. Take the ice age for example. We lived through and survived that. I think what ever the future throws at us we can survive. (unless of course it's the end of the world.) 1

-People will be lazier and fatter. -Television will be 100% reality bullshit. -We're going to continue to have disappointing presidents. -The majority of people are going to be socially awkward. -Dana will be on her 100th username (no offense Dana/Sitara). -Schools will offer texting related courses. -CD's (the discs... do kids even know what they are anymore!?) will cease to exist. -Hardcore drugs will become legal... marijuana will remain illegal. -There will be a tremendous increase in stupid baby names. -Christianity will become a mythology. -Scientology will take over as the world's leading religion... or maybe not. -Joe will actually beat CreateDebate. 1

AI will be invented and most religions will be a thing of the past and very little people will have a religion. We will be able to travel through space. Tax rates will rise. The credit crunch will still be going. Many animals will go extinct but new animals may be discovered. Obviously we can't know for sure but the way the world's looking now this could be how the world goes in 10+ years. 1

Since man has had a conscience it seems that he has tried to depict what the future will be like; it is always bleak and depressing. I think this stems from a deep seated fear of the unknown. The sad part is that there are those who look forward to such things. For me personally, I have done my best to take it a day at a time; though it is easy to get sucked back into the doom and gloom that is a constant barage on a daily basis. I grew up listening to what was refered to as 'Oldies' music but, were just songs from the sixties and my parents formal years; now the songs from the 80's and 90's are considered old, :-( Anyway, this song always stuck with me and someone put together a video some years back. It is scary because while they say the years it seems like everything they refer to is on track with the present times. In the year 2525

Giant housing bubble in China is going to wreck havoc on the whole economy. Nations will then tend to protect their own people more, and cooperate less with other nations. People will fight to secure oil reserves, eventually war will emerge, proceeding into fresh water wars, until every resource imaginable will be diluted beyond recollection into an increasingly dying ecosystem. Everything will be dead. Or massive, global youth protests will eventually push the architects of society off their pedestal. Things might just run smoothly thereafter. 1

Youth are too lazy unless someone rich decides to hand out free ipads and that would never happen,the hippies of the sixties gave up and they had free sex,now that is worth turning up to,even the big bankers will turn up in a hoodie with a handful of condoms.we will end up following the third world countries like egypt and stand up against the oppressive and then celebrate by having sex cause everything else will be condemned. 1
