What is Wrong with this Picture?

Can you tell me this isn't the most hilarious thing you've ever seen?
This is an actual screen cap from a news broadcast by Al Jazeera news when interviewing
some "Desperate" refugees crossing into Europe.  They interviewed one of them here in this picture.

So, let's ignore all the terror he experienced because he's got some 2-dollar coutnerfeit sunglasses on and a white T that he probably stole.

That guy just looks to cool to be a refugee. Refugees look like a rag-tag group of nomads desperately seeking a safer place for themselves and their family. This guy, complete with designer shades, looks like he's going along for the adventure.

Well, I guess we know why he needs to get the hell outta dodge....... Gay!

So....why do you think he's gay?

What's a matter? Did your little johnson twitch a little when you saw his pic....so you do a bit of projecting and call him Gay?

Actually, I'm quite secure with my manhood SlapNuts... I'm not the one pretending to be some hockey playing tough guy, puffing his chest out on the internet.

Well, with the Ray Bans, the Armani t-shirt, the designer well groomed beard, and the $100 dollar hairdo, he looks like someone who got lost whilst on his way to Monte-Carlo.

I can tell that he's not from some trouble spot in the Middle East because if he was such a fit looking young man would be at home fighting I.S., right?

It annoys me when people say that the low lives from the failed nations of the world jump ship like rats and let others do the fighting for them.

That's a preposterous conclusion to reach.

As a middle-easterner, allow me to expand your very dim horizons

- "Ray Bans" "Armani" - all counterfeit or smuggled into the country at some point. It was quite common around there. When I was younger, I bought 3 "Versace" t shirts for around $15.

- "Well groomed beard" - Middle Easterners are a people of hair stylists and barbers. It's not hard to get a trim from your pal.

- $100 dollar hairdo - a jar of Pertoleum based hair gel around there is maybe $1, $2 if its "better" quality. Also quite common.

- "A fit young man at home fighting IS" - because that's the only problem they're all dealing with? You think IS has planes and are dropping TNT barrels on entire cities? Like you do know this is a pretty complicated war, right?

-"It annoys me when people say that the low lives from the failed nations of the world jump ship like rats and let others do the fighting for them." - maybe literally none of the sides who are fighting regardless of whether they're US backed or Russian backed or Al-Qaeda backed are actually trustworthy with giving the country a good future? Maybe it's just a bunch of dogs barking and biting each other? Maybe taking any side doesn't seem like a good option? Why would anyone stick around at that point?

See, the typical arrogance of the west is that they can compare everyone else's experience with their own experience and simply assume what ethics or morals everyone else ought to deal with, regardless of ever actually having been educated about their background or ever gone through an ordeal like it themselves.

you made all good points my brother. please to forgive some of my more ignorent and narrow minded fellow westerners. they know very little of the middle east and its peoples and expecially the plight of the refugees. i hope god protects them all. i also want to say it makes no difference to me if you or they call their God Allah. I also worship the one true Creator God and He is the same for us who are Saved and in His Grace. what we call him because of our upbringing and teachings makes no difference. what matters is that He know us, right?

Well, ''middle easterner'' there is something about western society which may interest you, that is, if it's culture, or any part thereof offends you, you are totally free to leave and go back to any Eastern country of your choice that you and your sweaty arab brothers turned into violent, murderous cesspits.

Why some people here and a handful of sanctimonious politicians think that the infestation of Muslims won't result in them turning the prosperous nations of the west into the same violent shit holes that they left beggars belief.

You and the rest of the filth may fool idiots like Demon Hunter, but most intelligent people realize with dread and alarm the threat you represent to our values and principles, not to mention our lives and the lives of our children.

You lot pass through many oil rich Muslim countries to get to the west and then criticise our way of life before shootings and bombing us.

Good God, you really couldn't make it up.

The fairy tale of Alice in Wonderland seems like a factual textbook by comparison to what the Muslims have been allowed to do in the countries where they sought and received sanctuary.

Whatever the complications of this I.S./arab war may be, it's of your doing and something from which the west and Russia should retire and leave you hysterical religious zealots to shoot and blow each other to smithereens.

Why in hell should we be even remotely concerned with ''the complications'' of a middle eastern conflict which you dummies started and haven't the sense to end?

Sort yourselves out and engage in a mass programme of brain transplants.

Ignore the ''typical arrogance of the west'' and sort yourselves out.

Try very very hard to recognize that it's you lot of whinging tinkers who are arrogant by coming to our land and accusing us of arrogance.

If I had my way I'd tell you and all the sad eyed so called refugees with your hard luck stories and crying children, designed to pluck our heart strings, to f* off back to whence they came.

As we in the west know only too well, children grow up and become terrorists.

One of the Paris Muslim terrorists had entered the country at the age of 5.

You lot will sooner or later start to cause even more death and destruction in the nations which welcomed you and passed laws to ensure that you are all treated equality.

The gratitude we received? death and destruction to the citizens of the countries which you adopted as home.

Instead of coming over here slabbering on about the ''the arrogant west'' you should be on your knees thanking your mythical allah for the opportunities which are open to you here.

OR, WHY DO YOU NOT HEAD FOR THE THRIVING ECONOMIES OF CHINA, JAPAN OR EVEN RUSSIA?

That of course was a rhetorical question as we all know those clever nations want to protect their citizens from the filth and want nothing to do with your religious motivated violence.

My only issue here is that it is not western arrogance that causes people to "compare everyone else's experience with their own experience and simply assume what ethics or morals everyone else ought to deal with, regardless of ever actually having been educated about their background or ever gone through an ordeal like it themselves". This is what people do. Not westerners, everyone. The frame of reference everyone starts with is their own. It's not a western thing.

What this tells me is that people who are smart, and/or have money, can make the journey. People who are poor, and/or stupid, don't have the resources to leave and make it.

I dont see the issue. If your house is being bombed, you leave your country whether rich or poor.

1 point

It is incredibly frustrating to see Muslims not suffering horribly when you absolutely hate Muslims. That's the issue he has.

So for once they didn't use an extreme example to manipulate their audience? You don't like that?

1 point

What's wrong is you only show compassion for someone crushed under your boot. If they're still standing upright and looking normal then you want to see them crushed first.

There was another guy they interviewed who had on gold chain necklaces, hip-hop-like clothes and one of those $300 red headphones but I wasn't able to snag a screen cap of it in time. I've been looking for this interview for months but can't find it anymore....oh well....very desperate they were. Aren't you glad they are safe and happy now in Sweden?
