Hard to say. For fiction... Frank Herbert's 'Dune' series is up there. Orson Scott Cards 'Ender' series is up there. Douglas Adams 'Hitchhikers Guide' series is also up there. GRR Martin's 'A Song of Ice and Fire' series is a relatively new entry into the list. For non-fiction... Kevin Mitnicks 'The Art of Deception' rates pretty highly. John Gribbins 'In Search of Schrodingers Cat' is also excellent. Quite dated now, but still a very good beginners look into quantum theory, and written in a very amusing fashion that is often lacking in non-fiction from my experience. The mythos of just about every religion (modern or ancient) ranks as well, though I'm hesitant to classify them as either fiction or non-fiction. I could go on, and on, and on. I think it'd be easier to list books I didn't like than it would be to pick Have you read all of the Ender Books? The Ender Saga 1. Ender's Game 2. Speaker for The Dead 3. Xenocide 4. Children of The Mind The Shadow Saga (after the buggers War) 1. Ender's Shadow 2. Shadow of The Hegemon 3. Shadow Puppets 4. Shadow of The Giant 5. Shadows in Flight 6. Shadows Alive The First Formic War 1. Earth Unaware 2. Earth Afire 3. Earth Awakens (coming June 10, 2014) The Second Formic War 1. Coming in 2014 1

I intend to read all of my books... I just haven't gotten around to it yet. I have several books that are half-finished, due to the fact that I'll start reading one book, become interested in another, read half of it and then the cycle just repeats. That's usually the case with nonfiction books though. Fiction books are a different story. 1
