I think the best manga and anime out there is Naruto. Naruto is a good anime and manga series I like. Mostly about ninja's and tailed beasts that many people have including Naruto. At first you might not like the first couple of episodes but then it gets really good after that. I recommend it.

Love Hina is! its real good you should watch/read it. its funny but occasionally serious.

Hetalia is about history and its funny. good if you don't like studying or paying attention in class

Kuroshitsuji is cool. its funny and full of action

Hagure Yuusha no Estetica is an anime i never get tired of watching. It has 1 season so far, 12 episodes. It's kinda a harem, definitely a lot of ecchi. The main protagonist is so bad ass. He has no vulnerabilites except for the girl. But it doesn't matter because the girl is just as badass as him, so he doesn't even need to protect her.

Well, I dunno about what types people like but my favorites are fruits basket, hetalia, blood plus, and clannad.

Utawarerumono is thought provoking, SAO is beautiful, and Fairy Tail and Naruto are quite fun, although if I were to choose which one to live in it would be Fairy tail, as Tsuadne scares me. Seriously, I have Limaxaphobia.

Trying to find one "best Manga/Anime" is a bit like trying to find one best book or film; a pointless endevor considering that almost all of them are different. I quite like +Anima and Blue Gender though.
