I lot ketchup a lot. The taste of mustard makes me want to throw up. Ketchup all day long.

I am also like the mustard. It has spicies for to make the food very good

I want so badly to say mustard, because that would make my wife very happy. She is one of those who thinks it's unthinkable for ketchup to touch a hot dog. However, the way I grew up it was always ketchup and that triggers fond memories for me, so I'll still say ketchup.

I want to point out, however, that in both condiments it's primarily the vinegary kick which makes them condiments. They're really not all that far off from each other, it's just one adds sweet and the other adds heat. And indeed many people put BOTH on their hot dogs, so if it's valid to double up then I don't see why either by itself would be invalid.

I think both are the American standard. Both are seen on hot dogs when u go to a baseball stadium, but when it comes down to it, i believe ketchup is the winner. It is more common, does not taste as overwhelming as mustard does and is just my personal belief the better tasting.

Hot dogs are kinda bland and need something with some vivid flavor like ketchup. Mustard is more for toning foods down..
