The points of life are many and I do not mean to sound cliché but it truly is what you make of it. The main points I think are to be fulfilled by what you choose to do, to bring help and happiness to others and to be good to yourself...not selfish, but good. Be interested in all things and be interesting to others. Find the joys of laughter and in fun just as much as you will find the pains of life many and its sorrows run deep within. Learn to minister compassion and to reach a loving out to those in need. Save some of these for yourself as well. Be open to new things and experiences. See the world in all its suffering and all its beauty. Be grateful for the beauty and do what you can to ease the suffering. These are but a few of the points of life. There are more...many more, and as you find them let your heart envelope them and see what a wonderful life you will have in front of you. Make memories.

There is none.

Our time is limited, both individually, and as a species. A few million years after we're gone, which is a blink of the eye in the lifespan of the universe, there will be no proof that anything like us ever existed.

We have no memory after death, no feeling, no hopes, no dreams.

So while we're alive, sure, we have individual things we long for, things we want to accomplish, and all of that is subjective. But as for some cosmic "point."

It simply does not exist,

And it's more than a little presumptious of us to think there would be.

Of course, we could become more than the animals we are,

work for a better world, longevity to the point of imortality, space travel, all of this is very scientifically possible.

Whether we will ever become more than the animals we are though is quite debatable.
