What would the world be like without religion and superstition?

Without the religion of Progressivism, the West would be more peaceful, less chaotic, and unified.

In my opinion leftism is not inherently insane, it's just that the far-left manifestations of Social Justice, anti free market sentiments and socialism, plus the fact that all the democrats and liberal politicians in the US and europe are insane and/or corrupt is making the left look very bad.

Definition of superstition

b : an irrational abject attitude of mind toward the supernatural, nature, or God resulting from superstition

2 : a notion maintained despite evidence to the contrary

Great. Religion has caused so many atrocities to our world. 9/11, The Crusades, and countless more genocides. A world without it, would be wonderful.

Great. Religion has caused so many atrocities to our world. 9/11

For God's sake. 9/11 had nothing to do with religion. It was a politically motivated attack with the specific ambition of involving America more directly in the Middle East. The only connection to religion is that the bias of Christians and/or Jews towards Islam was exploited to its fullest.

Yes, 9/11 was an inside job, it's all about the petrodollar. Creating a pretense to occupy and invade middle eastern countries that wouldn't accept the petrodollar because the less nations are on board with it the less valuable the federal reserve's fiat currency becomes to other countries.

I know this because I am a Templar and a 33rd degree freemason.

Al Qaeda is a religious extremist group. Politics was the main motivation, but it had religious undertones to it. But then again, America has been known to invent excuses for war. 9/11 still remains a mystery.

Postulating that religion and superstitions never existed would not affect the human proclivity in establishing a hierarchy. Countless variables determining the upper echelons of the population who will recognize the need for control mechanisms to preserve a social status by ignorance and fear. Perhaps religion and superstitions are the best way to a civilized society. Many rulers used the idea of divine right to rule with authority. Without a belief in a supernatural reason for one to rule another may have created democracy or some kind of barbarianism.

Supposing a worldwide decree eliminating religion and superstitions at the stroke of midnight would have no affect on some and a replacement organized social and networking gathering of likeminded people. A dramatic increase in broken windows and bridesmaids no longer catch bouquets resulting in a 3% drop in the flower industry.

We are already seeing what the world will be like without Christianity.

Liberals have done their best for the past decades to separate Christianity from our nation's public.

Lets look at this utopia without god........

Record numbers of people on food stamps.

Record numbers of people on the welfare roles, filled with unwed mothers and fatherless children.

Record numbers of broken homes.

Record numbers of people living together rather than getting married.

The value of an innocent human life has been deemed worthless until after traveling down that birth canal. In nine States, it is legal to kill a viable baby for any reason up to birth thanks to the Democrat Party's support for NO Restriction abortions.

Without God, a nation no longer lifts up common sense moral values so important for our families and well being of our children.

When is the last time you heard society speaking out and shaming one night hookups, promiscuous lifestyles that are creating so many abandoned children and broken families?

Do you know what the anti Christian Left's answers are for all our problems?

Their answer is to kill the baby and create endless social programs to bandaide this ever growing epedemic of self love.

No longer do we hear people speaking to putting the child's wellbeing ahead of your own happiness in life. Today it's all about you, you, you.

The logic of the Godless is self love. If you are not happy in your marriage, don't bother trying to improve it, just walk out. The chidren will get over it right?

If you got some woman pregnant, just walk out on her and the child, it's not your fault for that one night hookup, right? Let the tax payers support them, right?

Rather than always trying our best to improve our faults, the new message today is that "you are perfect just the way you are"!

I agree there is plenty of superstition in this world. The superstition of political correct biology whereby our bodies are no longer designed for a man and woman.

The superstition of dozens of separate genders.

The superstition of evolution as being fact, even though they have no clue how the first living cell magically popped to life.

The superstition that if you choose to abuse alcohol, it is not your fault, it is a disease...LOL

The superstition that the first time you chose to illegally take hard drugs, it's not your fault you got addicted.

Yes, without God, mankind has lost all common sense wisdom and accountability for his own shortcomings and immoral choices.

Just create yet one more social program to fix a moral problem, as our nation is 20 TRILLION IN DEBT!

Definition of religion

"a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith"

Religion is by definition superstitious, as is any form of faith, faith is a belief or practice resulting from ignorance inherently because when you have the facts you don't need faith, and even when you don't have the facts just having "faith" is not a good strategy to ascertain them.

I believe that your understanding of religion and faith is superstitious.

You seem to have a lot of faith in what you call facts.

Definition of "Faith"

Superstition is superstitious, faith is belief upon which you act; be that baseless or sure. You believe your words will be posted after you press the submit button, so you type your comments by faith and hit the submit button in faith that your comments will post.

You show a lot of animosity against God and those who know He is good. Why? What happened to make you so hateful and rude in your attitude and comments?

You believe in the evil dogmas of freemasonry, you live according to a misguided faith, so your comments directly contradict yourself.
