When Responding to a Post, Do You..........

When responding to a post, do you read others responses first before posting your opinion, or do you base your opinion solely on the question asked and then read the other respondents opinions afterwards?

I usually think about it on my own first and then post. The exception would be if there's only one or two short posts already on there and then it's almost unavoidable to see what others had to say before you state your own.

And face it, some of these debates get long and hairy, so if you truly wanted to read everyone else before you post you're going to need a whole lot of time to do it, and you probably would need to keep notes along the way to keep it all straight.

I'd rather say what I need to say, and then see what others say. Why? The "add Argument" button is higher up on the screen.

Side: I post first, then read others

I always try to post first, then read others opinions afterwards. That way I'm not influenced by others when answering.

Sometimes I forget to even read the debate question. Not sure why, but I am pretty sure that if I had to walk to work everyday I would quit. I would be walking 20 miles every morning and then 20 miles after work when I'm exhausted. That would just be too much.
