When was the last time God intervened on Earth?

Title should be self-explanatory.
Add New Argument

Depends on what an individual thinks of God. For example. An Atheist may say that God has never intervened because he doesn't exist. A Christian may say God hasn't directly intervened for probably 2000 years. A few more radical Christians will say God may intervene in someone's everyday life by "delivering" them from sickness or injury or a bad decision. It all depends on who you ask.

This makes a lot of sense. What school of thought do you fall under?

I fall under the Atheist category. I personally do not believe that God has done anything. I believe that mankind needed something to have as an answer for a certain occurence.

Today because it's raining outside it was time for Him to water His Earth because it got to dry!

I don't think he really has been doing anything for the last 2000 years. He certainly hasn't been doing anything since the scientific revolution...

Interfered or Intervened? I'll assume you meant "Intervened".

One example is that: Mother nature (God) hasn't completely destroyed the world, yet.

Every day that has happened, God has surely intervened. We're all at the mercy of Mother Nature.

Another example is that when you woke up the next day, or from a nap, and haven't died yet, God intervened, whatever that means. Death comes for us all. Any day is a good day when you're not dead, right? Well, at least for those who wish to say alive as long as possible, generally speaking.

Oh don't you realise, he dos it everyday by helping people to see the light, by showing them the way, and by smiting the sinners.

Ha lul jokes, of course not. Assuming God exists, the last time he intervened was probably to kill a few dozen people, he seems to be quite fond of doing things like that.

God intervenes everyday whether you see, feel and know it or not. The thing about how He works is that most of the time he works behind the scene. He uses the nature (people, plants, animals, everything included) to bring his message across to us, to inspire us, to motivate us, to warn us, to teach us. However, we (humans) are so accustomed to what we see with our physical eyes that we think there is no director who directs what we see in the physical from behind the scenes. If you can understand this, you will greatly appreciate Behind The Scene shows :)

When does the bible end? Around there .
