When you go to weddings with your children, do you cringe when the Pastor says a prayer?

If you don't cringe, then you must be saying he is not establishing a religion with the people at the wedding. The same goes for prayers in public buildings. They establish nothing! It's a prayer of love, and hope for others. They are not proselytizing. They are doing something nice for others as in funerals, etc. Why do you so fear your child hearing a prayer in school?
What kind of person has a problem with prayers of caring for others? BIGOTS!
It's pretty sick how the Left has made everyone believe a prayer in Government buildings goes aganst the Constitution, when for centuries no one believed that lie. This happens when bigoted people twist the Contitution's meaning to further their bigotry against Christians.
If there was ever something that goes completely against the intent of the constituton, it would be censoring a communty's right to have a simple school prayer with no child forced to pray along. Don't you people care about our children's safety? For parents who believe prayer is a good thing, why should their children be denied a prayer of safety from others? Are you such anti God bigots that you don't even want others saying a prayer of safety for your child? What can it hurt if you believe there is no God? Do you fear your child might be open minded and someday look at different religions, and maybe question our origin? Funny how these same bigots have no fear of their children experimenting with Homosexuality when they have Gay awareness days at school. You would rather your kids close their minds, bury their heads in the sand and have total intolerance for others who might express their faith with a prayer.

I remember when I was a kid, and during Thanksgiving lunch, they said a prayer before we ate. CRUCIFY THOSE PROSELYTIZING PEOPLE ESTABLISHING A RELIGION ON THOSE POOR KIDS!
The insecurity and intolerance of the Left for other's expressions of faith is truly sickening.

Thanks to these anti God bigots, our schools can no longer celebrate Christmas, Easter as they had for centuries. Now we must deny our Christian heritage and call it a winter or spring break. Censorship is a terrible thing like we are seeing in Arab nations where the collective will kill you if you dare express a faith different from the collective.

Finalls some honesty! Giving prayer to kida at school establishes a religion in the same way that giving a religious ceremony at a church does. People that do not believe in Christ have a civil ceremony outside church but those that want a religious ceremony go to a church. Those that dont believe in christ send their children to a public school those that believe in christ send their children to a christian school. THANK YOU.

So tell me what parents are suppose to do when Government forces our public schools to have Gay awareness days? That offends millions of parents. Where are their right's to not be offended nor have thier children indoctrinated to abnormal sexual orientations?

Can you even grsp your double standard where it is ok to offend parents with Political correctness, but those who hate hearing a prayer need not be exposed to it.

I will use your logic, if you want to have your children indoctrinated by Gay awareness, send your children to expensive private schools that do have Gay awareness days. You can find out how expensive it is to pay for both the private school tuitions and also public school taxes.

Can you grasp that simple common sense fairness? If you want to offend parents with Gay awareness, then you need to allow things that offend you such as a prayer. You can't have it both ways so either ban everything that offends parents or allow it all.

Okay. For the sake of argument I agree that there should not be gay awareness days. And what? We aren't talking about that.

No one is arguing that there shouldn't be "Christian awareness" in schools. Just that there shouldn't be Christian practices in schools.

Trying to censor awareness of a topic is just that: censorship. Trying to stop religious practices in public schools is not the same thing.

You have obiously have never known what it is like living in a nation who controls the masses. When a Government can censor a community's right's to choose to say a prayer in a school(with no child forced to pray), or choose not to say a prayer, then that same Government can censor anything all under the lie of separation of church and state.

Those on the Left could sue a school that allows children to wear a cross on their shirt, or any other symbol the Collective objects to. Pretty soon they could ban symbols on clothing in public telling people it is offensive and insights riots.

As with all thing, the slippery slope takes it too far. We must always be vigilant of respecting our freedoms(no matter if the one is offended) to stop the spread of Leftist censorship.

Did you forget to take a pill or something?

There should not be Gay awareness practice in schools as well if you are going to censor that which you call a practice.

It's not a PRACTICE IF IT'S A CHOICE! Each community should be able to CHOOSE for themselves if they want a prayer. It's a simple thing called freedom to choose.

I would agree with you if communities were forced to have school prayers. THEY ARE NOT! It's called freedom FROM BIG GOVERNMENT when they get to choose if they wnt a prayer rather than forced by big Government to make it a PRACTICE of censoring prayers. A practice of NO CHOICE.

This nation should always have school choice for kids to attend the school of their choice. A school that says no prayer, or says a prayer, etc.

It always amazes me the fear that the Left has to choice in our schools as well as a fear if Christianity is mentioned in public. Ask yourself why they seem so paranoid and insecure to the simple mention of prayer but have no problem with Government indoctrinating kids to the political correctness of abnormal sexual orientations.

It should be common courtesy for people to be warned that a pastor is present or that prayers will be spoken at any event so that parents who care about their children can make sure they aren't exposed to Christianity's evil ideas.

LOL, under your sick intolerant world, every event would have to warn people that they might have Gay couples at the event because that might offend people. That way parents who care about their children can make sure they are not exposed to abnormal sexual orientations. Your double standards of what will be allowed in this political correct nation is appalling. They would have to make a list a thousand pages long to warn everyone on this planet of the possibility there might be something that offends them at this event. Your double standards of what will be allowed in this political correct nation is appalling.

You obviously are a hateful bigot and sound like someone belonging to a terrorist group. Why not round up all Christians like they did Jews in Germany.

How old are you? You can't be that insecure and arrogant can you?

Cool your jets. I only want to censor stupid or dangerous ideas. There is nothing wrong with homosexuality. Being gay doesn't come with an obligation to kill straight people. Religion is a very contagious virus that destroys the host and those around them. You wouldn't let your child play with someone with Ebola. Neither should you let them be exposed to the religious.

If you cringe from hearing a prayer, you have the close minded intolerant mentality of Isis that would kill a person saying a christian prayer. That kind of hate is truy evil.

I don't know who Isis is but she has a beautiful name :) With such a beautiful name she can't be evil!

Cringing isn't exactly the same as a desire to kill
