Back into the Amazon rainforest before it disappears, and deeper this time and for much longer, the stench of humanity makes it hard to breath at times (yes, I do get quite misanthropic at times because I both love and loathe humanity). I also want to go India, which is ironically one of the most densely populated places on earth. 1

"I always see it as what the English would have turned out to be if we actually lived in a country with decent weather." Actually, even though the number of people that claim english origins (i.e. anglo-saxon) as an ethnic group, overall, the number of anglo-celtic australian's who claim celtic roots (i.e. Insular Celtic:Irish, Scottish and Manx and the Brythonic Celts: Welsh, Cornish, and Bretons) when combined exceeds that of the english by about one percent, although the ratio is approximately 50/50, therefore modern Australians (non-aboriginals, or non-natives) are a mix of celtic/anglo-saxon, well 70% of them anyway. Even though this has been decreasing with imigration, it has dropped from 90% (with the remainder abo's) in 1947, to 70% today (latest census figures). Source: 1
