Where is heaven?
Christians and other religious people here talk a lot about heaven and god and hell, but where are these places?
Where is heaven? If you haven't ever seen it, or seen travel brochures with photos, or even a road map to it, how can you know it even exists? Is it in outerspace? We've been there though, and only seen planets are stars and galaxies and quasars and weird stuff. No heaven though.
Where is heaven? Where is hell?

Here it is. It's in Portsmouth. A lot closer to me than I thought. I thought heaven would be full of prudent, frigid fundamentalists... boy was I wrong ;) 1

If Christians had the sense to listen to their own Prophet instead of the fanciful, often metaphorical embellishments of his apostles, they would know that the kingdom of heaven is within, that it is a peace of mind, a state of awareness, right here on planet Earth. But primitive Christians behaved better under the traditional "carrot and stick" method of punishment and reward, and legends grow over time, tall tales get even taller, so it's easy to understand why so many people today view heaven as a magic cloud kingdom in another dimension full of wonderful stuff and attractive people that is their reward for good behavior. In a nutshell. Heaven is in a different dimension then our world that we live in . Jesus talked about heaven being streets of gold and we would have a new body that is better than the body we have on earth. Hell I believe in probably in the core of the earth since there is mostly fire in the core of the earth, others believe that its in a different dimension. 1
