At the heart of sociopathy is a complete lack of conscience and empathy. Many Republicans, from former Presidents all the way down to voters frequently demonstrate both. This is especially true of empathy. Just look at their attitudes towards poor people, immigrants, foreigners, and LGBT people. Not an ounce of empathy there. Other signs of sociopaths: 1. They lie. Constantly. Just like Republican. Every Factchecker I've seen has rated all of the Republican candidates below Bernie and Hillary during this election season. Obama, the most fact checked person online, has the highest honesty rating. Also, Republicans constantly cite dubious sources. 2. They know they are being hurtful, but they don't care. Why else would Republicans freak out so much about political correctness? They actually like being dicks. 3. Anger. Which is one half of the fuel that drives Republicans. The other half is fear. Seriously, look at a group of Trump supporters. They are mostly just pissed off cowards. 4. Completely self-centered. Republican voters aren't too bad at this, but the high-level officials are. They are the Original Old Boys Club, and they only care about themselves and whoever could make them more rich. 5. Victim Blaming. Republicans do this all the damn time. Its disgusting. Poor people are lazy. Addicts choose to be addicts. Women choose to be raped. And if anyone asks for help, they are told they don't deserve it. Honestly, a sociopath wouldn't have to even try to hide. They could just do what they do and look just like every other Republican. Side: Republican

you specifically asked sociopath. which is Broken :P (couldn't help myself) - you asked Sociopath, which can in some cases be non-violent hermit like people who simply don't like people. so sure. that's quite a few republicans. as they're more likely to be land owners, who don't see that many people and are more weary of strangers. and that's consistent with a Sociopathic model. - Psychopaths however, that looks more like the left. though i see some Soci's too. - lets be frank here, there's crazies in every bunch. you can't effectively prove one "hides" them better because some people are time bombs that don't go off untill when you least expect it. what's more is I find your statement negatively stigmatized against people with mental conditions, which I suspect you made with "a lack of conscience" :P hey look! That's consistent with Sociopathy. - Jesting aside I'd think the people with the highest incidence of "mental disorders" (people we call crazies even if they aren't) that were undocumented and thus "hidden" fall into a few categories. I'll talk through a few of them below - Drug users- because most drugs are pushed upon by social pressures, and certain mental disorders are characterized by a longing to fit in that was not fufilled (parental abuse for example). this would serve two fold, giving our hiding unstable, a outlet to sedate any emotion they did not wish to feel, and giving them an easy social group to fit into. never having to seek Psych help. of course that's not to say all drug users are mentally ill, but you do tend to find a handful more potheads that are crazies, and it has less to do with the drugs than people usually finger. - loner Salesmen, particularly competitive sales. as some unstables hold a disconnect from their true feelings. the sales allows them to use that masterful manipulation of people to sell their product, but lacking an ability to form relationships, he has no family to speak of, and is probably a loner. his job is everything. guy usually snaps when he's fired or laid off. - generally anyone who thinks the world owes them something/is fundamentally flawed. SJW's, (probably not third wave feminists, but an honorable mention) white supremacists BLM should go here because one of their founding members is FBI most wanted (fun fact). umm... westboro, Pita, anybody who really protests anything could be on this list. it just depends how far whatever it is pushed them around. which is basically everyone else. I'd strap a bomb to my chest tomorrow if I was thinking that I was leaving a better world behind. chances are I'm not, but not many people have been driven to the edge of sanity. i mean it's a notion that's pretty easy to get caught up in "it's Too late for me, but maybe I can make the world a better place." which can be an innocent notion you convince someone the right people are the problem though, and that turns into murderous intent. - I didn't really want to post this, I almost didn't because well. this is a debate site. and everything I just said is gonna get a new asshole ripped XD. I'll admit most of this is probably Conjecture, or more... stream of consciousness reflections...yeah. I felt it needed to be said. because we can't keep up this "You are the problem" crap. Everybody just has to quit that shit. we're all the problem. and if you can't accept that then, well then you're part of the problem :P . humans are assholes. That's a universal truth :P so, for a minute stop this dems and reps, Trans and cis, homo hetero shit. we're a fucking miracle of science and or God floating on a rock circling a ball of eternal nuclear explosion. and we're all just a bunch of crazy assholes, wanting what we (probably wrongly) think is best thing for this stupid rock. so... yeah...
