Being Canadian, I have no bias on the subject, because we like the Cubans and the Americans as much as we like everyone else, except the Dutch, they are our favourites. I would have to go with the Cuban anthem, I, for some reason, prefer the tune of La Bayamesa to that of the Star Spangled Banner. Side: Cuba

Liberty is the right of every man to be honest, to think and to speak without hypocrisy. — Jose Marti - Cuban patriot and poet Labor to keep alive in your breast that little spark of celestial fire, called conscience. -George Washington- American revolutionary and first president Side: Cuba

This is a tough one. I did some research on the Cuban Anthem, and while it is based on the same concepts as the US national anthem, I just couldn't betray the dedication to my country and more importantly all those who have died for our independence. I would nopt blame anyone from Cuba for feeling the same about their anthem! This will be an interesting debate. Side: USA
IMHO it is the anthem of the country I was born in and am loyal to. I would think most people would choose their own anthem... at least that is what I would expect. As for those that aren't from either country I would guess they will choose Cuba because most non-Americans on this site hate America (and many of the liberal Americans as well although I'd make an exception for Apollo) Side: USA
