You are even dumber than I ever imagined. The entire black population of the African Continent and beyond were not all enslaved. These African Bongos had centuries of freedom which they could have used to invent new technologies (of their time) and discover the wonder's of the world. During this period of liberty and the absence of the white man, the Bongo could have, just as the whites did, engage in experimentation and study the natural elements of the world around them (such as the power of steam which was discovered by the English engineer Thomas Savery and improved by another Englishman Thomas Newcomen,) and developed advanced farming methods, form effective national defense forces and continue to push for the evolution of all aspects of their civilizations. BUT THEY DIDN'T, so they were brutally enslaved by both blacks and whites who, very wrongly, but perhaps understandably, viewed the primitive African tribes as sub-human savages and treated them as such. Still to this day, the African Nations along with other countries with predominately black populations such as Haiti, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic all languish in ignorance and poverty relying on the magnanimity of the western nations and now China to come to their aid in times (like all the time) of misfortune.
