Although technology is presently not sufficiently advanced to take advantage of it, the most efficient source of energy would probably be the rotation of the Earth. Next to that geothermal energy also holds a lot of potential. Of those mentioned, solar energy is the best because it's clean energy. You don't have to deal with radioactive waste products. Actually, I've changed my mind. The most efficient form of energy would be something which can force matter to interact with anti-matter. That's a one hundred percent mass to energy conversion rate, compared to the seven percent or so produced by nuclear fission. Side: Nuclear
