Which is more valid, ethics or morality?

ethics

morality

Since the Democrat Party possess neither (as we can see with their support of killing viable babies for any reason up to birth), I would say humanity is the more valid and should supersede anything else.

As always, you are a complete deceptive liar! You support killing viable babies up to birth (infanticide), and to excuse your inhumanity you lie about those who try to stop the holocaust.

I support contraception and life of mother abortions you complete waste of time.

"Why is my lord weeping?" asked Hazael. "Because I know the evil you will do to the Israelites," Elisha replied. "You will set fire to their fortresses, kill their young men with the sword, dash their little ones to pieces, and rip open their pregnant women."

Since the Democrat Party possess neither

Mmm...yes....the orange leader of the Republican's sure sets a good example of morals....mhmmm right.

(as we can see with their support of killing viable babies for any reason up to birth),

They don't. They support Pro-choice so again, that's like saying you want to chain women up and force them to give birth.

I would say humanity is the more valid and should supersede anything else.

Humanity should supersede ethics and morality?

FOOL!!! IGNORE!!!!!!

Ethics are a by-product of morality. If one is moral, they will be ethical.

eth·ics

noun

1.

moral principles that govern a person's behavior or the conducting of an activity.

"medical ethics also enter into the question"

synonyms: moral code, morals, morality, moral stand, moral principles, moral values, rights and wrongs, principles, ideals, creed, credo, ethos, rules of conduct, standards (of behavior), virtues, dictates of conscience

"the ethics of journalism"

2.

the branch of knowledge that deals with moral principles.

Ethics are based in morality, but both are important.

Side: morality

moral principles that govern a person's behaviour or the conducting of an activity.

That's the definition of ethics. That being said, I'm sure there will be cases where the so called "ethics" of a deed might go against morality.

The application of moral principles specifically with respect to a deed, only affecting its immediate consequences

Seems like a more well suited definition to me.

'so called "ethics" of a deed might go against morality. Yes, and it is called being unethical.

It can so happen that someone is being ethical while going against morality.

ex:Following trade ethics while the trade itself might be against morality.

So the trade by itself would be immoral, but they are still following ethics to do specific deeds.

Little Mick came home from school one day quite perplexed. 'Dad, the teacher was telling us about morals and ethics today and I still don't understand the difference. What is it?'

'Well son, you know that I am a solicitor so let me explain with an example. Let's say that old Mrs Murphy comes to me and asks me to write out a new will for her. Now she is old and can make the odd mistake. Say instead of a cheque for 100 Euros she makes it out for a 1000.

Morals, son is, do I tell Mrs Murphy. Ethics is, do I tell my partner?!'
