Which life is better? Being a kid or an adult?

As a kid most wish for the freedom and opportunity adulthood comes with. They don't think about the responsibility they'll have and the concern about making deadlines. Adult life is far from setting your own rules, you still can't see your friends when you want because of work schedules or their families, you can't do all you want because you likely conform to what needs to be done around the house before work the next day. You're fully in charge of making sure every chore is done right and if you don't have kids then it's all on you to keep the entire place running and clean. You can't always drive when you want because of gas prices and car troubles.

As an adult most, wish for the "worry-free life" a kid has. But what. they're remembering is not exactly kid life, they have their own stresses that at their time take just as much of a toll as adult life stresses. They may not have to worry about the above, but when they get a little hint of adult life when they see their parents breaking down it hits them hard, seeing their parents like that. They try to push it aside that they might lose the house because the kid can't do anything about it, the kids tell themselves their parents will figure it out.

But as a kid, you get a lot of play time, you don't get the stress of an adult, and that appeal so much to us.

But as an adult, my husband and I get to run my house how we want to. Things are arranged and kept up in our way, groceries are what we want, etc.

To me, both are pretty much equal.

As an adult I catch myself wanting to be a kid for the cliche reasons sometimes. I miss the energy kids have. I'm not even old, I'm a young adult yet lack that raw energy. :(

Seeing as I don't consider myself a full adult yet I can't really say.

But so far, compared to being a kid, I kind of like the middle part more.

a kid is better because when youre an adult youre closer to death anyway, but also if an adult has money they could buy drugs, alchohol an cigarttes. you would die in no time. but as a kid you have rules that keep you alive. of course nobody follows them.

Depends on how goes your childhood and your adulthood. Mine was lonely when I was young, pot-filled as a teenager, and deeper into psychedelics as I got older; I studied a lot as a child, took my teenage years off, and began to study even deeper into the old topics as I got older. All in all, I kind of like my teenage years best, childhood was depressing, and adulthood is filled with feelings of regret and lingering Torschlusspanik.

Being a kid is better because you are sheltered from the ugly world that has wars and also you get to believe in Santa Claus.
