I defy you to argue with me: Golf.

Golf is quite possibly the most boring thing to watch on TV ever. Someone hits a ball, then you have to wait whilst they walk halfway across a park to go to the ball, so that they can hit it again.

I'd rather watch Loose Women.

Definitely NASCAR, Formula 1, etc. I've never understood what was so exciting about watching people make left turns over and over again.

I'm definitely casting my vote for golf. I'm not much of a sports guy, but even I know that golf is boring as hell.

I basically created this debate just to get up on my soapbox and say baseball is a terrible spectator sport. It's equally boring to play, mind you, but watching it - you might as well slam your head into a wall for three hours, at least then you might end up with some moderately amusing hallucinations.

Pitch, swing, miss . . . throw back to pitcher . . . pitch, swing, foul . . . pitch, swing, HIT! Finally, someone hit - oh, he's out. Awesome.

I'm sure I will be opposed left and right, but I say football. Think: unnaturally big sweaty men run towards each other as fast as they can and attempt to get an inflated piece of rubber and cowskin, yard by painstaking yard, from one end of a rectangular field to the other. All possible attempts are made to pile on top of whoever is in possession of said inflated rubber.

At least in golf, you get a varied landscape. More depends on wind speed and technique than the impact an individual can sustain before breaking something.

Actually, all of the excitement of football is probably in the traditional activities surrounding it: lots of yelling, lots of booze, and scantily clad cheerleaders at half-time.

Bowling is probably the most boring sport in the world to watch on tv. Sure it's fun to do in real life, but why would you want to sit there and watch someone else throw a ball down some wood panels to hit pins?

I would have to say that the most boring sport to watch on tv is tennis. i play the sport and love it but i can't stand to watch it. back and forth across the net over and over. BORING!! when your in the game your thinking about spin and angles but watching it is pointless

Golf. Golf is a slow moving game that is not as intense as football, hockey, soccer, baseball, basketball and cricket. You have to watch it for a long time till you know who won the game.

Soccer is the most boring sport to watch. A bunch of fairies running around.

I'll go with golf on this one. In every other sport I can think of, there is at least a bit of fast-paced action that should get your adrenaline pumping, yet there is nothing fast-paced or exciting about golf that I can think of.

I will say Golf is the least exciting to watch because it goes slowly.
