Both are valuable. Phone for communication especially during emergencies and computers for general use. If we aren't talking about usage for emergencies I would go computers. Hard to play some great games on a phone, plus using a computer to get information tends to be easier. Side: Computers

I know you can play lots of games on computers than phones, but think logically. If you were walking on the street and saw someone with a broken leg on the ground, you could use your phone to call emergency services. Also some games you play on the computer you can still get on your phone. If you like social media, yes you need a phone for Snapchat and Instagram. Not Tumblr or Twitter though. Also you can keep in contact with people, I know we have Skype but really you can download that on your phone. Also phones are portable. So if you were to go to the park you could bring your phone but not your computer. Game wise: Computers are better. Emergency wise: Phones are better. Portable wise: Phones are better. Social media wise: Phones are better. Looking up information on the internet: Both are the same. You get my point. Side: Phones

Personally, I think phones. Computers are useful for developing like coding but really phones are important for emergencies. Computers are not portable so you can't actually use it like in the park on a sunny day. Also if there was a person who was lying on the ground dead, really you would want to have a phone so you could call emergency services. Also on phones, you can keep in contact more easily. I know we have Skype on computers but you can download Skype on your phone. Also with phones, you can download apps like Snapchat, Instagram and social media you cannot use on your computer. Is anyone else with me here? Side: Phones

Technically speaking, a phone is a computer. Phones are ideal for making calls, which is important to have in emergencies. They can also do most things that a laptop or desktop can and are quicker to power up. However, if you want to do in-depth research or write anything up in digital format, they're really not that great. I often start doing things on my phone, but start up my laptop when it becomes clear they'll take me a while otherwise. And even though I can speed-text, my 90WPM typing speed is still much faster and results in fewer mistakes. Side: Phones
