And the whole of central North America just naturally belong to the Americans? I'm sure the Native American tribes had a different point of view. And if you are complaining that Britain's imperialism was bad can you please explain why there are delegates for Puerto Rico and the Philippines in the U.S Congress. Side: U.S.

"The massive genocide toward the Native Americans came before the USA being formed." United States Ethnic Cleansing programme "That one is on you guys" Our only contribution to the genocide was being unfortunate enough to spread diseases like every other nation on the planet. "And, we got our slaves from you guys." Then you could have got rid of your slaves when we got rid of ours. Side: U.S.

There is no doubt that the USA has been the greatest terrorist and the worst human rights violator in the history of mankind. I like the USA for other reason, and surely it has been the most charitable nation in history. Where do I start? The Tuskegee or Guatemala experiments? Side: U.S.

I am actually of the opinion that Britain's imperialism did the world a great service, in setting up a worldwide communication network by which we can communicate across cultures, and share ideas of right and wrong. It seems that certain ideas, rather than being seen as being imposed by Western culture, are being universally received as right and modern, and it's a beautiful thing that we can all agree with the notion that people want peace, and they want to love each other. This would not have happened without Britain setting up a framework in foreign countries by which they could exchange goods and services, and set up business relationships. The US, on the other hand, has taken this great system of a global market, exploited it and corrupted it, and could possibly be about to destroy it. First, we have pumped the world markets full of our dollars, then we robbed them of their value and inflated them, knowing that everyone in the world was already too deep into the system to immediately back out from it, then we sold out, our debt spiraling out of control, using our military in a series of ventures that contradict all of those very ideals (possibly being fed monies and sweetheart deals from a corrupt theocracy that would like totalitarian control over much of the Middle East, or even the world), and destroy the principles that made the global markets just in the first place. We might even destroy the possibility of a global market if we collapse. Is this not possible you say? There is a first time for everything! Side: U.S.
