At least 24 people have been killed in Iraq during a fresh wave of anti-government protests that have descended into violence.
Two of the dead were reportedly hit by tear gas canisters fired by security forces in the capital Baghdad.
Reports say half of the victims were killed while trying to storm a militia group's offices in two southern cities.
Hundreds of people have been injured in nationwide protests that erupted on Friday, reports say.
Protesters are demanding more jobs, better public services and an end to corruption.
Similar protests earlier this month were brutally put down by security forces, leaving nearly 150 people dead.

I remember that pointless war based on torture and false intelligence, that got us nowhere. Yup. The Bush administration was when I really discovered what I'm about politically, and it's the opposite of that. The Bush government was corrupt from top to bottom. i happen to be a truther. The word itself is a smear attack, which probably originated in some obscure public relations think tank. But there is no doubt in my mind that 9/11 was a false flag attack. I spent almost a full decade researching the evidence in my spare time, and when I began I was 100 percent in the opposite direction. It's just one of those things. Unless you are prepared to look at the evidence objectively, you'll never change your mind. Side: ROFLMAO
