What makes you think that the prophecies of the book of Revelation have not been fulfilled? As a preterist, or so we are called, the book of Revelation of Jesus Christ to St. John was a revelation to John; it is now history and no longer eschatological to those such as myself. If you would like to search for the answer to this question, I recommend two books: The Parousia- by James Stuart Russell, and Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible. You will be surprised! Hello PYG, I'm inclined to think you speak as though your understanding of the contents of the Bible is second-hand. Meaning, you were told to think such B.S., and none of which you think has been sought by labor and reason of the bible for yourself. Your false inferences of the scriptures are nearly comedian-like. (If I mock the practices of some Christians, I mock by reason of thousands of hours of research and understanding of the subjects of the Bible, not because someone told me I can or ought to.) However, your first sentence is true to the facts of the scriptures. And yet, the second sentence is contrary to the whole of scripture. Unless you have a thorough knowledge of the entirety of the scriptures you cannot understand the context and the justification for that which you are calling pacifism. If you think you know the bible and the contents thereof, feel free to invite me to a challenge debate concerning such. If you don't want to debate the subject, I will not compell you otherwise. i was just joking. i was really just making fun of those reverends on TV who tell you that if you don't live a life of Christ and worship you are a follower of Satan and such and will burn in hell. as for the second sentence, I know about Revelations. but once again, i was joking around with the whole radical idea that because Jesus taught to turn the other cheek, we must be pacifists at all times. doesnt need to since he is in command of all therefore he simply has to say something like "stand down" second the bible doent say we have to be a pacifist even though most of us think war should come second to diplomacy and last less than 1 percent of the world is satanist Side: Jesus
