then who created god?...or did he big bang himself into existence? God cannot be created since he is outside of space-time, which logically implies that he isn't bound by space or time therefore and implication of time upon God cannot be applied. How can you create something that has existed before you? Something that has no end or beginning? Creation implies a starting point, God cannot have one since he isn't bound by time. Side: God

this side of the board is full of nut jobs. think of this... what % of people do you believe are truly intelligent? people that have very good common sense when it comes to the way things work, etc? you have to admit, most people are pretty dumb for the most part. how many of you actually know or met somebody that is true brain...like the inventor of something ingenious? i know i havnt. well i would estimate less than 15% of humans are or have fallen into the "im not a dumb@#$%" category. now tell me if this is just a coincidence and im not saying all these people are the smart one...roughly 85% of people believe in a god...15% (which include the cowardly agnostics) are pretty much atheists. when it comes to the tough challenging questions/dilemmas...MOST people are going to get it wrong!!! The framing of this debate is flawed because the two are frequently concurrent, mutually reinforcing mechanisms of violence. Due to people worshiping God, Millions have died. Worshiping God is responsible for the Holocuast. It's responsible for the Crusades. Finally, the Europeans who succeeded in Native American Genocide were Chrisitans. Add it all up, it very close to Billions. Government was made to manage society and people. Even assuming you mean the idea of God (since we haven't proven God's existence yet) i still believe the government is responsible for more deaths. The government of any nation is simply the ruling body. A king is a government official of a kingdom, a dad is a government official of a family household. In biblical times, God was the government official of the land, with rulers simply acting under him. Everything was believed to be done in God's name. Now the reason i'm on this side is because I'm adding the kills the government/religion was responsible for at the time, with the killings just government (which is now more powerful that religion) has accomplished in this time.
