Are we talking Norse or Marvel? Oh wait, Loki is better than Thor either way. Norse Mythology. Thor is a classic war god and protector of mankind. He is utterly uninteresting and predictable. Loki is by turn a trickster, a god of fire, and a shape-shifter. Scholar Gabriel Turville-Petre observes, "more ink has been spilled on Loki than on any other figure in Norse myth. This, in itself, is enough to show how little scholars agree, and how far we are from understanding him." Loki is an enigma. Thor is boring. Done. Marvel Comics. Thor is a predictable, privileged dunce whose power derives from a war hammer that he inherited. He is not actually even that attractive. Loki is a complex character whose powers are innate and include shape-shifting. Loki is also vastly more intelligent than Thor. He is also far more good looking, in spite of that stupid helmet. Oh, and Hiddleston is a considerably better actor than... whoever it is that plays Thor. Side: Loki
