Otherwise, I think evil entities are scary too. They're not really killers though, but they definitely destroy your soul.

This is an unfair question. It's tantamount to asking "who is the person you'd least like to get killed by... but by choosing that person you will end up being killed by him or her".

Anyway, it has to be Jason from the original Friday the 13th movies. There was this one scene in one of the movies, where this girl went to sleep in her bed and Jason stabbed his machete through the mattress and killed her. I slept in the living room for about a week after that.

Freddy Krueger, man! He never failed to be creative with his kills, and even gave some witty remarks to make the movies even more amusing.

Jason Voorhees over zombies and Krueger any day. The guy is diabolically insane and probably the coolest killer I have ever seen

I think Leatherface remains as my favorite killer from a horror movie.
