Colossal breaches in anti-trust laws and various other business laws, alongside legal loopholes, is always what puts us in debt. Greed has never been in the hands of the government; only the people. At least, not in this country. If the government, the most powerful, most diverse, most skillful force in this country, didn't care about us to the point where they would do something they knew was harmful to the economy, then they would have let us stave to death eons ago. The only selfish people in power are those with money, which the government doesn't have. Rich business owners do, on the other hand. Being apart of the government doesn't give you power; it takes away power from you... in a government like ours, that is. When they are elected, they have the most responsibility then any other person in the country. They can't just steal people's money for personal gain, because people would notice! The government has never stolen money for personal gain because then we would all be starving to death! Like North Korea! You can't tell me, therefore, that the most well-educated and trained workforce in the country is going to steal people's money. They are capable of dumb mistakes, sure... but not stealing. They have nothing to gain from stealing since they have to stand on the backs of the people whom elect them. We starve, they starve. Meaning, they have no more power then us and more then twice the responsibility. Business, on the other hand, does have everything to gain from stealing money from people, since they are the second half of our economy's supply and demand cycle. I don't expect anyone to understand this though... Side: Corporatism

Um have you heard something about a tax government takes. From the businesses who earned money by working hard. Thats there greed. And secondly business does not steal money. IT provides and item or service for the money so its a win win. While the government takes it and buys stuff for itself no thats selfish. A the reason why no one gets it is its wrong. No, the reason you don't get it is because you're an idiot. I will only say this once and never again to you, more then 90% of tax payer money does not line the wallets of government officials. Nearly 100% of all taxes are returned back to cities and towns and you, the taxpayer. That's how it's suppose to work when we're not in debt. The reason taxes are supposed to be higher in times of government debt is because they need even more money to stop YOU and ALL taxpayers from starving to death! Our government is perpetuated by our well being, moron. They can't afford to be greedy, because if they do, they will fall down as we collapse underneath them. They can make mistakes, but don't you dare tell me that they are sincerely greedy. Next: Big business is greedy in every way, shape, and form. I've explained this before but I'll still explain it again. After a certain point, an owner of a business will have made so much money that they will never need to make money ever again for the rest of their lives so that they and their family will always have a comfortable life. Sounds good? It is. But once you start making even more money then that... you are officially in complete dark. There is no purpose to make more money then you will ever use, and that is what almost every single corporate CEO does. Don't tell me they don't because they're philanthropists; that's just their cover so that people don't call them out of the fact that they take more money then they will ever use away from people who do all of the real work, the back breaking work of the LABOR FORCE. I don't want to have to explain why this is stealing, so I won't, unless you ask nicely. Do you really think the government, our civilian perpetuated government that is currently in serious debt, is greedy in comparison to fat million and billionaires who sit around in their mansions doing nothing with more then half of the money they've made in their entire lives in the bank? Well sir, I'm sorry, but you're a fool. I'd be nicer to you, but since you have the nerve to downvote me and then argue with me like a dumbass, you will receive only my utmost retaliation for such an insult. Side: Corporatism
