Even with a great idea, it may be difficult to raise the capital for it, to receive the necessary loans from banks, to market it, Economies of scale, monetary resilience and so on and so forth. Further more, many large familiar companies do not create their own ideas, they buy them. A corporation is a entity who must by necessity buy their ideas from others, or steal them. Single proprietorships may have their own ideas, in that their owners may or they may not(and usually single proprietorships involve the owner being a member of his own labor force). As you can see, it is very much the case that the labor force generates good ideas but that it generally lacks the means of actualizing them. Further more, despite most businesses not being corporations, the most amount of business is done by corporations. This is because they draw on various factors, including their labor forces ideas(since it can't really have it's own). Consider an engineer, a well payed laborer but a laborer still, it is very possible he will never own a patent, even if he makes numerous successful inventions.

If a team of engineers decided to create and patent the Prius instead of Toyota buying it off them so to speak, due to economies of scale and numerous other factors it is unlikely it would of been anywhere near as successful(it would of likely remained unheard)

Good to know you know next to nothing about the reality of economics. The labor force should have to work FOR a company, they should have to work with a company. Without the company, the workforce would make no money, and without the workforce, the company would make no money. One provides supply, one provides demand. Neither are anything without each other.

And yet the company, the side that gets disproportionately more money then the side that does the real work, the labor force, is based on greed and ruthlessness in it's organization so much that it has the nerve to treat the labor force that graciously gives it's labor to the company for sake of equal gain... like they are lesser then them. A company CEO has never and will never work as hard as a coal miner, or mechanic, or lumberjack, and yet a CEO makes approximately a hundred times as much as these people!
