unfortunately, there will be plenty of willfully unvaccinated people who do not have to live with the direct adverse consequences of their decisions. Ah yes. Focus. Super focus. ur not being consistent. no vaccine is completely effective in preventing transmission; that's true for covid as well as flu vac. vaccines will generally diminish transmission by reducing infection and viral loads, but they are imperfect. masking up is not just a sensible precaution when it comes to covid; it makes sense for the flu too, which is why people in other countries will mask up whenever they think they may be sick with the flu or may have been exposed to someone who is. in the states, tho, a lot of people just dgaf about other people so we don't have that practice. it's a significant part of what's made this covid mess so bloody messy.
